QuotezeuszorFrom the article. "Only by letting go of your free will can you truly walk with the Lord." This does not sound good to me. It sounds perfectly acceptable to me. In order to believe in god, you must give yourself to him. I.E. Your will. Hence, one of the many contradictions in the bible, both new and old. Let's examine this. When something

Hey all, 1.) Madonna is not under the auspices of the FBI. She resides in the U.K. (although, U.S. power extends worldwide). 2.) She adopted an African national for publicity. It's evident. 3.) Let's not dwell on this. It's BS and should be regarded as such. 4.) The father realizes this and wants monetary compensation. This has nothing to do with a cult, period.

QuoteskepticYeh, a friend recruited me, then I recruited my sister which turned her so nasty that our relationship is now over. I don't blame myself though, I blame the lgat. I was fooled by the sophisticated scam, the seductive illusion - for six years. I recruited my sister, and attempted to recruit many others, only because I was under a spell. (Thankfully, nobody else I tried to recr

This is only one link, but there are many others: It looks like it just may be a tourist trap. Although, it seems sort of "fishy" to me and you'd have to contact the Ghana tourist board directly to find out. However, I do know Chernobyl "was" a tourist destination at one point. It failed because people were afraid of being dosed with high levels

While the Mormon religion is changing in a changing world, simply to get congregates, let's not forget how racist they were in the past, and how old-school Mormons still are racist. Anyone on these boards who is a Mormon knows exactly what I am talking about. I would love to post examples, but I guarantee that Rick would not want links to these sites on his forum. Just do a search for rac

QuoterichardmgreenPeople are leaving Christianity in droves and Judaism is also experiencing similar problems. All of this opens people up to experimentation with new ideas. Often times, people leave one thing to wind up in something worse. I dialogue on this board to help people out and to gain a perspective on how to handle my own, oftentimes dysfunctional relationships with G-d and peop

QuoterichardmgreenFriday, September 07, 2007 My contention is that cults proliferate because people who have unusual needs have to go to places that provide supports for them that they can’t find in the usual and standard religious groups and civic centers. I am a primary example of this. In my case, my family was dysfunctional when it came to religion. Only my nephew seems to ha

Mr. Phelps and his family, I won't say followers because nobody outside of his family follows him, are some of the most vile people to walk this planet. Protesting outside of gay funerals is bad enough, but protesting outside of the funerals of servicem

This is silly! Calvary Chapel is not providing guns, ammunition or any other arms for that matter to ANYONE! They might be smuggling Bibles into one of these countries, perhaps an underground missionary here and there. Frank I think my "drive-by" proved its point, eh? You provide a much more lethal weapon. At least guns can be confiscated at the border when found. Your

Quote"cultreporter"I spoke to the Honolulu Advertiser today and the interest is not there in investigating Mike's devotion. The reason I was told for this was that they are not worried about asking their current govenor why she is Jewish so why would they ask him what his religion is. Evidently cult awareness is genuinely needed if the difference is not obvious. Indeed. T

Unbelievable, although unfortunately believable in this day and age. I want to start out by mentioning angels. It seems this cult likes to incorporate angels into their doctrine. Angels are warriors of god, according to many scriptures, not just Christian scripture. From here on, we know angels DO NOT have free will, according to scripture. Let us begin. Angels are the warriors of god, h

It's getting worse. Hey, Ross. I guess I could examine your page source, but for your forums do you have index=nofollow? If not, that would make the forums less desirable for spammers. Also, if you use Turing for validation, you might want to rotate your Turing solution every so-many days so that spammers can't pick up the pattern. Just a suggestion.

I'm a noob, and you can take my advice as you wish. The spam is a strategy... a strategy to make you Conspiracy Theorists (CT). Think about it. They are trying to discredit you. The more you say that LGATs are spamming you for whatever effect they desire, the more they can say, "You see, they are conspiracy theorists, they have no credibility." Ignore it. The moder

Hi. This is my first post here. Since lurking on this forum and learning about LGATs, I have been wondering if anyone can give me a name for the particular LGAT I am about to describe. I preface it with a little bit of a story, and the fact that receiving an answer is a complete shot in the dark. A long time ago (1990-92), I lived in California and had a friend whose name I will withhold. He w
