Hi Malcolm, That is an interesting viewpoint and not one I feel qualified to comment on, not being well versed in the area of legal precedence. It would be interesting to know what experiences you had in the group, which demonstrate this 'bias' or a tendency to 'fabricate history'?

Hi Gladitzover, Yes, Dave hates the parents of those he recruits because they represent a challenge to him and also a threat. He wants to control and manipulate them. He feels very threatened that any access he allows will result in the recruit leaving the group. Those he feels most threatened by, he attacks the most. Verbal attacks where he labels family members as írrational or his

QuoteThen, in the spring of '72, Dad began to wield some new "scare tactics" designed to shift the direction and momentum of his Revolution for Jesus. It was now time for the "Great Escape", a special warning revelation he received from the spirit world. On April 24, 1972, he announced: "The storm of God's judgments upon the ease and luxury of these nations, par

Yes Apostate, Co-narcissism aptly describes some of the JC´s. Malleus is quite right too in that the motivations of the rank and file members are sincere in the beginning until the ´vipers poison´is injected and then they begin to emulate the leader and believe his twisted lies.

Dave may just be so emotionally deficient and damaged that he is completely self centered. The idea that he is not the centre of the universe might never occur to Dave. I agree with Apostate that Dave appears to twist all of the teachings of Jesus. Here are a few verses he should read over and over... “If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? Or

On the one hand, you are setting up meetings with the JC's and on the other, you are addressing DM in an aggressive fashion. Are you responding to some of those private messages you mentioned or what is the story? Were you involved with this group ?

There is truth in what you say, Apostate, but ignoring the antics of DM will not curb his progessive extremism. Matilda, all of your points are eerily familiar and I will comment on them in a seperate post. DM can no longer say that there is not one ex member who has spoken out against him. With the exception of Zeus, the moderator and Anita, this board can speak from personal experience. Con

DM says QuoteI got the chance to be a fly on the wall in terms of what must go on almost constantly in some circles of our most devout critics. And this is what I discovered: They express a lot of emotion. In fact, I would say that well over 90% of what they say is DM discovered that 90 % of what we post is emotion and reports his findings to the group! One explanation of his lack

Dave has shown , yet again, the depth of his hatred for his members and for their families. He enjoys this power trip, even as he cried out in pain. I agree Apostate, that he remains angry but it is more than that, there is actual hatred. He enjoyed the pain and anguish that he caused to others there. That sudden angry glint in his eye that is so familiar to ex members. Interesting that h

QuoteDave McKay Six years later, I can only guess what was said, if, indeed, I ever spoke to that reporter at all. I just know what the facts were. *I* did not have the boy (because I was in Australia at the time), and I did not KNOW where he was in England, and (for obvious reasons) did not WANT to know. Why did you not want to know? Were you not concerned that tax payers money was b

Gladitzover, Apostate, Cultmalleus, freeofDM, Matilda, Jack Oskar Larm, Snuggles, Thank you for sharing information and experiences here. I would hope you might allow your wife to have unconditional contact with her children. That would be a positive step. We can choose to end generational abuse, with our own children. And stop messing around with the lives of other people and the

This Dave Mcay has three kids who have left the Jesus Christians? -Who are now adults with their own lives and maybe even families of their own. Presumably they know what he is really like and up to, including the devastation he has reeked on a whole host of OTHER families. So why don’t they go public and expose hi
