Makes sense. I wonder if she is vying for the ‘Gucci guru’ title that Teal Swan currently holds. Her output appears to me as the same model in many ways, although this ones actually wearing the Gucci footwear (via google images) as a little pointer. I don’t think I’ll give too much more input to her. Are you familiar with Max Spiers? Same sort of thing again.. with no Gucci and money makin

‘occult writing, popular in the days before well established religion ‘ - to correct myself, ‘before well established churches’ explains better. I mean before commercial churching. It could very well be that this person is deluded in what she is doing as a usual thing. It is a widely used model that looks like she has been exposed to herself and saw the rich ‘abundance’ that is in some case

Colleen Ann Santoro (false name, kaia ra) would make a great character play as one of the ‘baddies’ in a Matrix movie :D. Does anyone know if she is originally from Nederland ways or not? If she has witnessed children being killed, police should investigate this. Has she ever spoken of reporting those child deaths (and potential other crimes) to the police and is there proof of this? Outcom

‘Don't place yourself at risk to others in such a way that they can harm you” Thanks Sunflower for your post, it’s true, and I especially like the bit of advice you gave quoted above. Hehe with the 100% Zizlz con artists. Shortly after posting, I was directed to look at authoritarianism in the guru role.. and was recommended a book which I found had been posted about on the forum he

.. there’s a lot of them these days from the obscure to well known. It has to be seriously asked and considered though, who, given their own spiritual stories, sits there and says ‘f it, upload me to YouTube I want to be on there’. You’ve been meditating in a hut for a long time, stuck motiveless on a park bench, even realised that your actually an alien being, earth is trivial in compariso

Hi Zizlz, I’m familiar with Adyashanti over many years, but I watched back the clip anyways and have confirmed my own observations with his comments further, for me there is plenty of passive aggression in many of them. A lot of the time Adya is responding in this way to others, the pig comment is being a fine stand out example. So too the comment about sullen or dull eyes, it is really

‘With the exception of Gaja's report who later said she may have misinterpreted the interaction’ Only after Gaja’s reality was questioned by yourself, who didn’t want to see it. Is Adya a cult leader? Maybe not in the traditional sense but he is up there with all the frameworks. His next course is called “Resurrecting Jesus”, not much to do with his usual tradition .. but a moneyma

Wikipedia link there to ‘satsang’, it gives the origin too. Adya satsangs his way around a lot :-D I don’t know, I just find it completely insane what people are doing. Trends too. When is there a space for unkindness when attracting and working with groups of vulnerable people? I’ll answer because I’m feeling cheekier than usual today - there is no space for unkindness when working

QuoteI think everyone's different. Meditation may be a dead end to you but that doesn't mean it is for everyone. It’s true, but side effects are there and can happen to anyone.. despite correct practice. That is the issue. In the same way you mention, it is different for everyone but there’s no need for me to be right in only my view all the time - I simply share my own findings and

QuoteOkay, so at least we found some common ground :) Sure, but if there isn’t any common ground it need not create a conflict. Everyone has a different viewpoint, it might be annoying that it keeps getting mentioned but they are all valuable viewpoints to me. Who does the meditating? Because it sure isn’t Adya. It is the meditator. Adya knows his bit since he has gone down the road

You’re welcome Zizlz, as long as you remember that it’s not because I would personally recommend going, because unless you’re very strong in your sense of who you are, I see it as an exceptionally unhealthy environment to be in. Long term meditation too, has it’s long term side effects. It’s not something that I believe can be taught of guided by anyone anyway, people more often (more especial

Sure, if you are happy with the cost.. for me I wonder why on Earth anybody charge for a service like this at all, but that’s just me. Spiritual growth being a business venture, those two don’t really compliment each other at all from my perspective, it’s not the same for everyone though I get that. It doesn’t have to be. Y’know, it may not be the same reason because I do not know as a fact

Cool Zizls, Did you skip the bit where appreciation for Adyas hilarious sense of humour is mentioned? He is funny, no denying. It seems to be a discussion here and the thread title for me I can appreciate why because Adya does present some of the qualities there from my bit of view and view from others, including you - because a non ethical pricing (making things inaccessible) is one t

Hey Zizls, Hope that you are doing well. Since Adyashanti puts himself out there publicly and makes money through the public, like with any public figure - any person anywhere can have various views of what he puts out - the beauty of it is that everyone can and will have a different view, and criticisms don’t have to be taken on by him he can just get on with his own life (and likely does)

Here’s my two cents.. Adyashanti and his wife are both very sad casualties of exactly the same things as they put out. None of it is or has been of any benefit to them through their lives, if any only as a temporary band aid to relieve pain in physicality and emotionality - which appears to be the thing needed to escape from. What happens when you have a teacher or leadership role person

Here is the next part of debunking meditation. After realising our connection to our own bodies in a perhaps different way now, there is no denying that our brain chemistry is what leads us to experience things that we might consider as paranormal, or magical. We will often have people back our very real experiences up by telling us that it is a spiritual experience or by others going along

One word, money ! Epstein did the typical thing of masquerading wealth and the obtained it by devious means. His island served the two purposes, one for gratifying his own wishes and two to provide the gratifying of others wishes which he could then use in order to manipulate them with the knowledge of it. Greatly valuable, as seen with those confessionals that people give to cults. Mon

In this sat yoga clip, shunyamurti explains how our natural, and sometimes inevitable undesirable feelings are not welcome when it comes to the golden age, it comes across to me as kind of a 101 on contamination ocd from the believers perspective. Emotional contagion is a reality, though to spread this tone of fear around about it is rather quite unprofessional, not to mention a poor exam

9- ‘It’s an attack’ Sometimes connected with the topics in no. 4, ‘it’s an attack’ is often the reasoning for anyone or anything that rationally questions what the teaching or guru is claiming. To the guru or teacher, yes it is an attack due to the great threat being presented to their version of survival.

‘Silence can feel like a dignified, high road response but it’s not. It’s a way to inflict pain but without the physical marks. Being ignored is just as powerful.’ This article explains why it feels so painful to be ostracised and ignored within any group setting, and of course the inevitable ostracism that
