Dewatcher, you seem to cherry pick and only tackle questions that you feel comfortable with. Even though none of what you state really adds to the conversation. Perhaps you can find a different group on these forums that focuses on supporting your continued attachment to defending this philosophy and the crooked gurus who peddle it? You wont find a sympathizer here. Dudley lasted a few days. I wi

By Butler stating that what he teaches is absolute truth he is not respecting the beliefs of anyone else. Any spiritual or philosophical system that's taste that there ideas are the absolute truth are fraudulent and disingenuous and intolerant of other traditions. Butler lecturers are riddled with criticism of Christianity, Buddhism and even his own spiritual Masters mission. When devote

There are many non-religious and fanatical organizations that feed the Homeless and do all sorts of Social Work without relying on the dictates of a crooked spiritual leader. There are many organizations who do all sorts of Wonderful social work that don't have at their Center a bigoted homophobic narcissist who rules with fear. There are many people who have a vibrant spiritual life, family

Here's the latest and last part of the interviews I did with Henry. For better or worse I am less articulate in the video interviews then I am on this forum. The fact that Butler made it clear to his polish followers early on that he was somehow dissatisfied with his Western disciples and followers is a Hallmark of Mind Control. He's creating a division people. Never mind that al

The moment this butler personality cult made an effort to get involved politically, it became justifiably open to criticism, scrutiny and skepticism and doubt. We were within this group for many years as well as our parents, saw it as clear as day where the dictate came from. Butler had his hands in literally every successful business of his devotees and the political rhetoric and campaigning tha

It's my sincere hope that Tulsi gabbard acknowledges this completely irresponsible activity in the group and denounces it and plainly states that it was wrong and that the science of identity Foundation also publicly acknowledges this as well as a public statement from Butler acknowledging that it was wrong. But as we say in America, fat chance.

I'd venture to say it's a bit more tragic than what you make it out to be. The fact is that 40 boys and the girls were sent overseas so that their parents can slave away for Butler. They received an extremely subpar education with no ability to prove any schooling credits when they returned back home. There were no counselors and anyone to deal with psychological problems that the stude

I think it's safe to say that gurukulas are one of those bad vedic ideas. There's really little logic and reason (not to mention it's completely against nature) in taking children away from their parents to indoctrinate them from a young age in any specific tradition. It's disingenuous and goes against the very idea of Dharma. Children should be with their parents and parents

Butler is in the same line as his spiritual Master. His spiritual Master had no problem with arranging marriages and there are many within his organization. In Butler's organization, I am not aware of any specifics on arranged marriages. But obviously due to the nature of the cult mentality, most members would not ever even conceive of having a spouse who is not a fellow cult member. It woul

Hinduism covers a wide gamut of ideas/faiths/philosophical views. Often times atheists who challenge or point out flaws in "Hindu" god-believing faiths and how they have not allowed India to advance socially and economically, are called out as "hinduphobes", but in reality this is incorrect. A phobia is a fear. Questioning a religious belief system is not a phobia—it's tr

Dewatcher, I would like to extend my apologies if I came off too harshly in the last couple of post calling you an apologist. In my personal journey of extricated myself from this group I have had to contend with disassembling the whole religious framework that I was asked to impose on my mind as a child. In doing so, it has resulted in a extreme distressed for everything this group and others li

Henry has done some recent videos where he is interviewing me. I have never changed my stance about this group. Please go and support if you understand the psychological damage that this group eventually causes people the deeper they get into it. These people have spent millions of dollars in spreading misinformation and promoting Butler's Pleasant View age message while covering up all of t

The evidence is testimony of many locals living in that community. The recorded testimony is on soundcloud and is clearly 2 men on the boat talking to each other... where is the other man? The beach is a public beach. No one owns the water. People own parts of beachfront sand not the water. There is no justification for it man. Please don't be an apologist for this cult. There is nothing

VOX, dewatcher stated this. Not me. "Killing a person or protecting a real offender from liability, even if worldly law is an imperfect version of yama, this is not a good symptom." I don't speak in riddles. I just come out straight forward and tell it how it is. That boat accident was a cover-up. The man who died was a victim of butlers disciples arrogance along that beachfron

All of this is basically like discussing a episode of Looney Tunes, but being all serious about it. There is nothing of substance to discuss. If you want to come here and discuss real science and real psychology, I'm happy to plug in. Until then, we are discussing an adult baby called Chris Butler who can build a tall tower out of blocks and call it a monument.

Please look at this article and sound logical argument against the notion of Free Will and how clear, concise and productive it is in terms of its application to a persons daily life. Now, contrast this against a typical Hari Krishna forum where everyone is giving their illogical, hodge podge opinions based on no science, reason or logic. Just blind religious fanaticism at its finest, in t

Looks like SIF bought some prime google ad space to get top ranking when people search for "Chris Butler Cult"... They even have a link in it to a lecture of Butler talking about religious fanatics/cults. Of course the cognitive dissonance ensues when you realize that he is telling people that religious fanaticism is not possible when practicing "true religion". He spends h

So basically a Mudha is anyone who does not accept their specific god. Got it. Very credible and logical indeed. Pretty much the formula of all fanatical religious groups. DeWatcher: What do you mean it's "Hard to say that are words of ACBS"? It's right there in the transcripts on the Vani archives (along with many other lunatic comments, ideas, dogma): Do you think

The way in which Butler and his followers think runs something like this: they feel that any money and anyway to get money out of this whole political endeavor is purifying each and every person who donates or is sued or has money extracted from them in anyway. They feel that the more people who donate to this representative of Krishna, the more purified the world will get.ISKCON did the same kin

Divorced? From who? From What? What does Samoa have to do with anything? I am especially fond of Krishnas words in the Gita about suing your enemy for $50K. And the verses in chapter 7 smashing homosexuals and muslims. Now I know where the inspiration came from. Anything can be justified when it is done "for Krishna" under the guidance of an expert spiritual master. Apparently, ac

Jai Srila Prabhupada!!!! May Lord Narashingha protect us from the evil Hillary Clinton. In true Butler fashion, Tulsi decides to sue cause her lord didn't show up for the occasion... Krishna saves his energy to battle the real big demons. Hillary did not make the cut I guess.

To each their own. I have not had a enlightening experience in the cult. The mantras work when you are in a lively kirtan in the same fashion that a rock concert makes one feel free and happy. Chanting on beads alone was always stressful as you were asked to chant 16 rounds and spent majority of the morning trying to bang through the rounds so you can get on with your life. There is no science

In the end, as you can see from your comments here dewatcher, there are way too many inconsistencies and conundrums that can arise from practitioner to practitioner that no group could possibly answer and satisfy. Yet, without clarification on so many fronts, most devotees are left in a state of mental chaos regarding the philosophy, mythology, rituals and practices. To solve this paradox and mes
