KW is an ISKCON project that is officially approved of by the GBC.

The KW centers are basically outreach centers where no one resides. The whole idea of KW is to establish a community of people who live in the world, and not sequestered in temples. What's wrong with that?

"Recently the Cult Education Institute (sponsor of CultNews) received a very serious complaint about Steven Hassan, a cult specialist and licensed mental health professional based in Boston, Massachusetts. Hassan is also the president, treasurer, secretary and director of a for-profit corporation called “Freedom of Mind.” The complaint concerned the fees and questionable conduct of Steve

Just FYI, friends. Dave McKay is back. "Brother Dave seems to be adept at “brainwashing” his disciples according to numerous press reports. And after new recruits join his group they frequently cut off virtually all communication with family and old friends. The group has also garnered controversy for recruiting minor children. Complaints from estranged families and bad press followed D

Yes, I see that NTCC Hinesville is still there and appears to be staying afloat. I've looked at their Facebook page too. The rotten HOPCC apple does not far from the rotten NTCC tree, I suppose.

This is a chilling account. How is NTCC Hinesville doing? Do they still have a church and soldier's home there?

Denis once (in 2004) threatened to go to my chain of command and accuse me of being inappropriate with some of the children in the church (these were all lies of course), because I was being openly critical of himself and his organization. When he heard that I was publicly criticizing HOP among the soldiers at Ft. Stewart, he personally called me on the phone and started making such threats, whi

Denis and I spoke privately and one-on-one once. It was on the front porch of the HOP soldier's home in Hinesville. I was sitting in the porch swing, but he insisted on standing while we spoke. He kept circling me as we conversed, so that at times he was in my blind spot and I therefore could not see him (as he was directly behind me, though inches away). He gave me the creeps, Denis did

Having first encountered HOPCC in 2004 in Hinesville, GA (what I was a soldier) it does not surprise me at all to learn that Rev. Denis has gone so very far off the rails. He scared me from the moment I met him and he probably scares the piss out of all the other HOPCC ministers too. Tell me please, Delivered: what ever happened to Tony Oloans? Is he still a part of HOPCC? And is there still

Very recently I tried a ten-day Vipassana course, and left on the afternoon of the fourth day. It was too overwhelming, too disorienting for me.The managers strongly tried to persuade me to stay and make a stronger effort to complete the course, and I was told that I'd not be allowed to try again someday. In other words, the window of opportunity is now closed for me, (at least during this

It reminds me of the old song: "And the people bowed and prayed To the neon God they made And the sign flashed out its warning And the words that it was forming And the sign said, 'The words of the prophets Are written on the subway walls And tenement halls.' And whispered in the sound of silence."

All right: I just called the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner. I have confirmed (by phone) that Jim Roberts was declared dead at 6:59 AM on 6 December, 2015. The cause of death is listed as "metastatic carcinoma of unclear primary." I have ordered a copy of the external coroner's report as well, and will also try and obtain a copy of the death certificate. More to follow.

On Monday. I am going to contact the Denver coroner's office myself, in order to investigate this matter further. I'll personally try and obtain a copy of the coroner's report/death certificate.
