QuotefrodobagginsQuote from Knowledge is King... Here's another testimonial, not sure why it isn't on the page with the others: Quote: The other day I had eaten some really bad food, you know the really bad kind, it had GLUTEN and SUGAR in it! Well, needless to say I went to the bathroom later that day, sat down, and nothing. Nothing happened. So I went on the UM website, I wa

If they indeed felt effects, then it shows the power of the MIND to convince people, nothing else. More proofs of the error of Ser

QuotetreefernAh music food of the soul, I just think UM music is pretty poor and really hard to listen to. Since I joined this blog site and have been supported, gratefully by many unknown 'friends' I have only concentrated on the affect UM and Serge has had on my relationship with my husband. I have recieved several suspect personal emails which I feel may be a set-up, this does not

QuoteGibbsHas anybody here thought about speaking at one of the monthly EGD's. I wonder if Serge would allow a person or 'group' to 'present' some of the arguments brought up here that he or his family could then reply to. This could reach a large number of people deeply involved and give them a different perspective on the principles of UM. Failing an official

QuoteMacReadyAs I understand it the key point (along with the emotional issues you mentioned) is that music channels the energy of its creator. So if an artist does drugs, drinks alcohol or generally lives in a manner not approved by UM, the music delivers the energy of said lifestyle choices to the listener. Again this makes the choice of Elvis as an exception to the rule quite amusing, given th

I really don't get the music thing. Having a fairly extensive music knowledge from both creative and historical angles I can not see how UM music is somehow different from everything else. The cord progressions, key changes, structure etc of that which I have heard (the Benhayons kids CDs and some Chris James's material) sounds exactly the same as all other music of that ilk. As for the

QuoteCOncerned PartnerHi Corboy thanks for great post about Shamballa- I guess what we can take from it is that it is SHAM- balla. I really wish that the students would bother to read something for themselves so they can see the fantasy world that Serge is living in. He appears to be ramping up the rhetoric and the stakes all the time. It turns out at his recent retreats he revealed he

QuoteGibbsNo, but I still think of it as a possibility. I have lots of crazy things that I think are possibilities that have nothing to with UM as well. It doesn't matter exactly what I believe or anybody's personal beliefs are does it? I have come to say there can be life after UM. You can get through this intact and with your partner, family, friends and finance. I don'

This stood out to me from your posting, Gibbs, and if anyone can add to this I would appreciate it: "The most convincing entity sessions I witnessed was not like the pairing up. It was two separate times with a bout 6 different people. It was a fair while ago but I remember Serge would select a volunteer from the audience (joking one time about how the person was coached on what to say).

I second what you say about Rick Ross, it must be no easy task hosting and moderating this site, and I for one am very grateful it exists. Thank you for that Rick. I also agree the post on the FB page was most surely aimed at this thread. I think that's a good thing, it shows what is being said here, especially the really in-depth analysis of UM texts and teachings, is reaching an audienc

I think the poor man is confused, he doesn't know where to turn. He derides Facebook and yet engages with it. He tries to mock it "You ask me Facbook what is on my mind..." but then continues to use it as a platform to shout louder. When searching for him or Universal Medicine through search engines, this site, and many others offering the truth about him appear. Sadly, Serge, Goog

It seems the internet and social media in general is a concern of his/them. Have a look at his posting on the wall of his Facebook page today... A case of the pot calling the kettle black if ever I saw one. I agree, the head on approach bears no fruit, but softly, softly is the way ahead. Just be loving as normal and when the time arrises naturally, a good discussion can ensue. As COncerened says, cults brainwash members in to particular thought patterns, but these can be undone, and once that proces starts, the rest will, hopefully, unravel very quickly. Having other family members and friends info

"No one 'in-truth' would care about these blogs. They would not be concerned with lesser minds, because they would know unequivocably that it was the truth. Truth invites inquiry and criticism. Univeral Medicine deplores having that light on it, because it is afraid that the real and more obvious truth will be illuminidated." This is spot on COncerned, and reflects my feeli

I agree, the prediction thing is amazing, I can't quite believe how he gets away with it. For me, this shows just how brainwashed his followers become. They are unable to look at the world apart from through SB's eyes anymore. I would also like to note, it is a real shame Yvonne McIlwain's blog is no longer around. To read Eric's post saying it helped him extract his wife f

QuoteCOncerned PartnerThe claim to be no more special than anyone else is of course the same as any other claim made by Serge. It's the false choice, double speak that forms the mind cage for the student: I am just like you-- a forever student. QuotefrodobagginsHi Knowledge is king To answers your questions. 1) Should you be concerned? My honest answer is Yes because an association with any cult is alarming no matter what stage the cult is at present. QuoteCOncerned PartnerHi Pranic attack I feel for you. It is not only partnerships being torn apart- it is long standing friendships, siblings, families. I look forward to your appraisal of that, as your earlier one was so insightful. As I have said before, it's a shame more supporters of UM do not post here, so we can open this debate up to a wider audience. The experience of those that have, shows this forum is open and honest. Sadly, I suspect that while the powers that be at Universal Medicine are monitoring this thread (and other site
