I don't know about that particular Christian organisation, but some young people are said to have suffered due to medical neglect or beatings at these boot camps. When dealing with asthmatics, the organisers thought they were acting up, didn't let them have their inhalers, and they had real asthma attacks. As an asthmatic, the thought of that is particularly evil to me!

Don't knock it till you've tried it. Lots of people like sports of various kinds using guns. Some people might actually like dispassionate killing of other humans- a sort of 'natural born killer'- but this would be very rare.

You are getting more into the sphere of politics or ethics than anything to do with cults. There are lots of young men wanting to join the army. Most of them don't need any sinister manipulation to want to fight or play with guns- they love it. Getting young men to stay out of fights is more of a problem half the time. Love Kath

It has to be said though that your niece can choose her own reading material or spiritual beliefs. No one religion is necessarily more 'bad' that another. Where a counsellor/psychologist would help is they would help her get things in perspective and lead a balanced life rather than concentrating overmuch on spiritual matters. For instance, they might gently encourage her to focu

Personally at no time did I 'vent' particularly and I have not got into things on a detailed level due to it not being about me personally I was merely seeking to have somewhere online where people who've had problems with this organisation can speak out. Suffice it say that at the time Martin and Rhiannon said I was gagging for it and consented, then they had to change their st

I would like to apologise if the PF feel they have been brought into this, that was not my intent. Not being a member I speak for myself alone and anything I might have said about them may be misleading. The PF are a decent, longstanding pagan organisation with internal checks and balances, their large structure, accountability and the fact that they do not centre around one individual person

QuotesiofraCiruela - I am puzzled by the framing in your last post. QuoteI saw a potential win-win there QuoteI wasn’t going to hide what was true for me. Quotezaflon" "Barry are disliked and hounded off internet forums is because of their behaviour and the contempt they are held in by the pagan community." If we are hounded it is yet more proof of the vilification and oestracism tactics of the PA. We are people, particularly Barry, who have been into paganism for decades now and never been oestracised etc. In any of the othe

Interesting that you say that because my father was in Amway, and after that he was in some other MLM where he would try to earn pirate/sailor badges. He would get that same manic look in his eye. You say your neice is in hospital at the moment, so she is getting the help she needs. Bipolar normally starts at around your neices' age. So there doesn't need to be a particular trigger. But any stress, for instance, you said she was living with people she didn't get on with, would have exacerbated it. I don't think peoples religion causes such personality clashes or

QuoteIndieQueenSome of what I've read is from 15 and 16 year olds who were high-priests. That's a bit concerning to me. That has been suggested on I don't think she often meets them in real life. On one of the rare occassions (mentioned on the website whose URL is in the first post in this thread) 'High Priestess' Maxine took the lady visiting her shopping for a f

Martin is known for these sorts of allegations or feelings being mentioned. It is not defamation, as that is his existing reputation. As to the woman who as written to the moderator as 'partner of martin williams'- she is not just a biased partner. She is also Treasurer and second in command of the PA, the person writing in this thread as both Rhiannon B, and I believe, Morco2006.

As far as I am aware, everything I have written in this thread has been factual, I'm scrupulous about it. As to whether or not RhiannonB is a vulnerable woman who has been taken advantage of, that is a matter of opinion and not even voiced by me, hence I placed it in quotes. Two women have pressed sexual charges against martin williams, and at least one other who didn't take legal

QuoteColter I still maintain that the spiritual deformity within the addictive person supersedes and precedes the physiological phenomenon of craving. Well that sounds really nice. We will just have to agree to disagree but if these are AA's best arguments I can see that a lot of people would find it destructive to be called 'spritually deformed' etc. Love Kath

There's no sensible reason to post your number on an open forum. Unless of course it is some kind of ploy. :D Are you still living at home? Do your guardians know you just did that- they would be very concerned. Love Kath (the young man had posted his number which was thankfully removed.)

Well I wonder why Martin Williams chooses to surround himself with 'mentally disturbed and vulnerable' women. Couldn't be because they are easy to take advantage of at all, could it? Consider his ex-wife, a self-confessed valium addict who has been known to hallucinate. He obviously finds such types easy to manipulate. Also his current partner, it has been said to me that

Hi I was just on youtube for the first time tonight. I was thinking that there must be people who have left cults and destructive groups, who have videos on there. If people had written a bit about their experiences in a cult or of leaving a cult, what search terms could we use to track them down? Youtube is so huge I just got enjoyably lost:) Love Kath

Many people and groups locally do know about a substantial number of the women who feel they have been taken advantage of (and worse) by Martin of the P.A. Groups will not speak out about the PA for political reasons. Rhiannon of the PA would launch one of her vilification compaigns against them as she has done to many groups and individuals in the past. Any groups that told the truth abo

Quotecarlw Just so everybody knows Bruce was investigated and found to have done nothing wrong. To put such information on this forum is just wrong and tells you something about the person who posted the information. Noone on here even mentioned an investigation. If someone has been investigated, that is a simple fact and there is no illegality or fault in saying it and what it was for.

Quoteughaibu. Undemonstrable hypothetical entities "beyond ourselves" do not intercede in our drinking.
