Quotemorco2006..... As a Pagan myself I have been aware of the Pagan Association for a long time. They are a very highly respected organisation who have on many occasions stood up for the rights of people who have been persecuted and brought some well needed balance and openness to the Pagan scene. The organisers of the PA have spoken out against and exposed charlatans in the Occult world who h

As for Nazism and the occult only a few members were into the occult. (Heinrich Himmler, Rudolf Hess, Rudolf von Sebottendorf etc.) It is reported that Hitler said to Gerhard Engel, one of his generals, in 1941 "I am now as before a Catholic and will always remain so," etc. Many of Blavatsky's doctrine was twisted to suit the Nazi's own end. I always found their interes

Websites like the one we are on is a good medium. Keep in mind its important that you dont blatantly call any group a "cult" (in the modern sense of the word) without any evidence. An alternative wording like "cultish" might be better to avoid any legal battles. There are another of cult watch websites but be warn some of these sites are run by Christian fundamentalist wit

From Bob Dugan's site "... The document below is a sample of an early version the WHRDA CONTRACT that all candidates for Black Belt were required to sign on the day they tested." (I have seen this contract in the 90's and concur with Bob Dugan; this contract is authentic and was not fabricated by Dugan.) --------------------------------------------------------------------

Here is Bob Dugan's opnion of the group. Check out the link for a more comprehensive reading. "...It has been my opinion for the better part of twenty years that Joo Bang Lee's failure was his belief that He is the Art, and that central focus of study at the Headquarters is devotion to the Cult of the Personality. It was for this reason that he was abandoned by both Korean and

I believe the Rick Ross data base already contian information about Oom yung doe/Chung Moo Doe/Chung Moo Quan martial art group. But nothing on Hwarangdo (alternative spelling: Hwarang do or Hwa Rang Do). Theres some good information about the hwarangdo organization put out by former members: Bob Dugan. So I will provide a link instead. (here is Michael de Alba's website: He was al

I dont know about dismantling a cult???? Its something that is very difficult to do. And some of the tactics fringes on legality. If only some of the current laws were change. Although what one can legally do is to expose the cult(s) for who they really are. That has an impact with them.

Quotenccg_concern ...That plus, his being the pointman for a bunch of successful interventions would have to piss off group leaders and loyal members. Yeah I forgot about the intervention part. I support Rick Ross for doing it.

Thank you for your response and experience Lardlad. I would add alot of these girls are coerce or forced to take drugs and become addicted. Once they are addicted its usually too late for most of them. Its a vicious cycle; they need to continue to work as prositutes feed that addiction. Yeah I herad about that alot about motorcycle gangs and how girls are bought and sold. Its true that g

My feeling is that those sites that attack Rick Ross are put up by questionible groups who are threaten by what this site (and other cult watch sites) has documented and said about them.

Yep. I thought it would compliment the other thread on how South Park Shreds Scientology. This one was a funny episode too. They go through the history of Mormonism witn their usual slapstick humour and makes fun of Mormonism in general and throws alot of holes at it. Its a good episode!

It would be nice if there was a section on this topic or some more posts about it. After watching a documentry about women being kidnapped and then being forced to become prositutes. I was totally flabegasted by it all. Even with the fact how various governments dont take it as a serious crime. I forget the name of the documentry but there was one guy who was trying to get his wife back from

Ive been getting alot of nightmares and memory lost. According to my friends they say I have split personality too???? Does anyone else get that after leaving a distructive cult? How do you deal with it? I'm like a walking zombie or something. My sleeping pattern is irratic, I cant concentrate and I get mood swings. It sounds pretty distructive thgough. I know someone who wsa in a similar group that advocated total abstinence and would severely punish members who for the most minute infractions. The person I know is now mentally unstable and has random mood and personality swings. He is slowly getting better though.

QuoterrmoderatorKeir: The topics on this website are not US foreign policy and/or politics. This is a message board focused on other subjects. If you wish to comment about Iraq and US policies you should find another board. Should it only apply to me? What I'm saying is that it just didnt make sense to begin with. Shouldnt Star22's remark she have been related to cults?????
