Hi, I have developed and operate the world's largest English internet resource on the cult described here: I recently saw online evidence that a person associated with an ametur soccer club in Korea for foreigners was making repeated attempts to involve the club with cult organised events. Since the cult leader is officially wanted by Interpol to face charges of rape and fra

QuoteMena What would you consider to be the ideal time for practice? "Ideal time is between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. That is vatta time, the most spiritual time of the day. Krishnamacharya, the Guru of Pattabhi Jois, used to wake up at 1:30 a.m. When vatta time starts, he started to do all this pujas and asanas and pranayama and chanting. They say he was so loud with all this chanting and ringi

Law and Order had a show about a cult leader, forget the details, someone just told me about it and said it was a good one. Ther Sci-Fi show Sliders also dealt with Mind Control a lot, many of those shows dealt with cult like groups and leaders.

I've been reading about Michael's trial and the allegations raised and (if the allegations are true) it seems to me that Michael has a lot in common with a typical cult leader. His Neverland Ranch could serve as an isolated retreat that would foster the indoctrination process......(the belief that Michael is a nice guy who cares about kids) He seems to be good manipulator and seem

There was recently a video released on Japanese TV of an execution of several North Koreans in North Korea. I'm not sure what the story behind the video is, but maybe someone who understands Japanese can give a translation? The video isn't gruesome, the killings are taped from a distance and the video camera seems to be hidden in the clothes of bystanders. I think its just a cou

I just found an interesting email that was posted on teh Korean ant-cult website: If the email is legit, it is written by this guy: Manny Menendez. I spoke to him on the phome last year because his name was mentioned on the GACP Hawaiian homepage as supporter of GACP. I called him to ask if he knew that the founder of GACP is wanted for rape and fraud by interpol. I also mentioned the

Changed my ID, I posted all the above, changed my name cause I like this one better  Quite strangely, an email from what seems to be a GACP leader just turned up on the Korean anti-cult site. It seems to have been sent to members in Nov 2003, in responce to a small site I started criticising the cult. Thought everyone would find her responce interesting, it displays some very classi

Just thought I'd share a recent positive experience about warning people about cults. My website about an offshoot of the Moonies: was last week featured in an article about foreign English teachers in Korea. The journalist said some very kind things about me and the article resulted in an extra 300 people regestering at my site and a huge increase in the number of people viewing it

Oh no takers yet  I just posted this on another message board and quite liked how it turned out: It's really interesting for me to hear someone else’s take on it. Because I've read so much of the cult's propaganda and know some of the people near the top, it’s useful to see how an excerpt like the one above is viewed by someone who doesn't have the same experience

A few selected paragraphs to ponder from the book: Faces of Korea: The Foreign Experience in the Land of the Morning Calm by Richard Harris A young North Korean boy's experience of life in the South. His whole story is fascinating and he sounds like a really courageous young man. His experiences of growing up in the North are probably of more interest to most, and to me too, thats why I

Thanks for posting that, I'm living in Korea and am quite fascinated by cults, Trying to gather info on Korean cults that target foreigners in Korea, Seems there are a lot! Is this cult still active in Korea? If they are, any idea how I could get in touch with them? Korea really does seem to be the Land of the cults. 5 minutes wlk from my apartment are DahnHak and Jung San Do &quo
