kcross, you said, Quotethe accusations that you people lodge against phil aguilar in specific, and set free in general, are ludicrous. with a show of hands how many of you can attest to having attended a single service much less have shared your lives with these people. the scope of power you claim phil exerts over his ministry is enormous, far beyond the reach of many very infamous cult lead

ara21 posted Quote"But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness." ~1 Timothy 6:11 I say AMEN to that and agree 100%, but it is easier for some than others. There is emotional, financial, mental, and spiritual scarring that has taken place with the victims of this man. I think we need to pray for the healing of

I am so glad to see that there are other people speaking out who know this family, especially this man for what they really are. To those not familiar we probably sound very angry. We are. We were tricked by this man into believing he was truly a man of God. It is hard to except that you were so blind until you realize that you have been saved by the Grace of God and shown the truth. I just wish

As far as I know there is only one Dream Center and it is in L.A. Phill Aguilar was asked (or more specifically, told), to leave some years ago. To hear him tell it, s the founder of Dream Center, but I found out that he highly exagerates the truth and a lot of things he says or that you might read on his web site are down right lies. Total fabrications.

Sorry. I needed to go back and read what gigi007 had written. I wasn't there that night. I had already left so I never saw any letter that was handed out. Friends of mine told me he just walked out while they were in prayer. Then started an invitation only "Brunch service" on Sundays at "The Roc" night club. QuoteHe gave a typed letter to everyone exiting the church

ara21 What letter are you referring too? Did some one mention a letter about Phil stepping down? Stepping down from what? If so I missed it. I would be entersted in reading it too. I mentioned that he closed the doors to services in Buena park, but there was no letter. He just said this is it and while they were praying he stepped out the side door and was gone.

Andychee wrote QuoteandycheeDoes set free have anything to do with battle cry? I heard about battle cry and it sounded interesting. I never heard or saw anything about this group while I was a part of Set Free, which means they were most likely not involved. Phil Aguilar does not get involved with any one or any thing unless there is positive publicity, money or something of materialistic v

Jeff Seymore, I have to say that your statement, QuoteThe truth of the matter is that he has taken a vow of poverty. needs to be updated. He may have told you he had taken a vow of poverty, but my friend, I sat in his "Church" in 2004 and listened to him say "I will be a Millionaire before the end of the year 2005. I went to Israel with a group of 52 people from his "Church&q

Anyone who has been in the "inner circle" of the Aguilars self proclaimed Set Free "Church" would know how controlling this man is. I left Set Free a year and a half ago because I went on a trip to Israel with Phil, his sons and a group of other people. I witnessed Blasphemy. There was nightly drinking and total disrepect for the people who lived there. Total disrepect for sac
