I realize this is an older post, but I thought it still worthy of comment. Durianrider earned abut 20 grand from YouTube last year (2012). It's not enough to live on, but it's a nice chunk of change for spending your days bashing meat-eaters. His followers do seem rather cultish and he censors comments like a cult-leader would.
