So it turns out that Luzia is not in fact licensed as a therapist, so her practice is illegal. I also found out, and this is hilarious, that when she realized I was ditching out on her she got so mad she smashed her potted plants in her yard. I dealt her a serious narcissistic injury.

I strongly recommend the book "The Guru Papers: Masks of Authoritarian Power" by Joel Kramer and Diana Alstead. It helped me a lot in recovering from an experience with a narcissistic guru. And it really goes into the deep dynamics of why a person might mistrust themselves enough in the first place to be vulnerable to psychological manipulation, and how to rebuild self trust after it ha

I mean the ... at the end when she labels me a "complainer" reminds me of the times Luzia used to say to me (in regard to spirituality) "There are many beings, there are many places..." The ... and open endedness is to imply that she has superior knowledge that the other person (people) doesn't know about. Also what person who takes healing work seriously would read my st

Quoteturth_seekerThis is not the woman I know. She is legit and one of the finest healers I know. She allows people to experience life and think for themselves. Learn more about the complainer if you want to find out the truth... I actually think this is Luzia. Not that there is any way to know for sure, but it has the same manipulation she tried to use on me in person. Labeling me a complainer,

I kind of think that Turth Seeker is Luzia. The message fits her style of manipulation. Open ended, vague implications. Reminds me of the way she used to talk. Also she would be able to find this threat, since I sent her a message over facebook telling her I was posting about her bullshit online. Notice the hidden email address for Turth Seeker's profile, the heavy handed use of "compla

As long as we're on the subject, I recommend the author Robert Greene for his brilliant books on strategy and power dynamics. Without his books, I still would probably have gotten out of Luzia's grip but it would have been a more drawn out, messier process, with more hurt on my side. As it is I am out, and I sort of want to spread this information to ruin her therapeutic practice. Is th

Yeah. it reminds me of a book I read on military strategy, which may sound totally irrelevant, but the book's author also related many of the strategies to the social and political games people play in real life. One strategy is the encirclement, and it involves well... encircling someone. Surrounding them on all sides and cutting them off from meaningful escape routes. Luzia was emphatic

Among other things I described in the other thread, she suggested that I pray to her and her spirits when I was dealing with life difficulties, tried to suggest she was my spiritual mother, when she knew I had unresolved mother issues, and kept giving me reasons why I needed her, why I didn't have enough money to see other teachers for a process I was going through, why the universe had guid

Had a terrible experience with this woman claiming to be a therapist. She seems to have a small group based around her Santo Daime church in Felton, California. For the sake of avoiding finger cramps:
