Just want to share that there are Mooji 'retreats' being set up worldwide. Replicas of the campsites surrounding Sahaja, touting 'satsang' meditation & eco-retreat centers. I am from Hawaii and remember seeing an ad up on craigslist about Mooji followers who were creating a sustainable campsite many years ago. I just checked craigslist again and they are now in full swing

Hey all, been away for a bit, just got a Russell Brand notification with his interview with Mooji . . . . . I remember being a person who would've been excited about that years ago. If you read the comments there is not one objection to this interview. Thought there would be more 'free talk' about the mooji controversy as the comments arent blocked, and yet nothing. I have lis

Hey everyone, I hope this finds you well. I just want to say thank you to everyone on this forum, you are all very strong, & resilient. It feels impossible to move on, but it is necessary in order to move into deeper quietness & peace. Not more sides to pick, people telling you what is right or wrong, good or evil, who to worship or not worship, who to talk to or not talk to, what to d

I was at sahaja when Tanya was there, she always looked completely miserable & confused. During satsang she would ramble confusedly with mooji, looking so depressed. This is how they gaslight you, when you are at your lowest moment, in sahaja that means its right before an 'awakening'. Usually people become miserable & confused there and they are told they are about to awaken

Hi Gaja, I feel this same way as well, I was deep into chasing after teachers, books, taking everything as gospel for about as many years as you have. When I left sahaja, I had absolutely no interest in any of these things anymore. I think I got too deep into that world, without checking in, and when you begin to be out of touch with yourself, its easy to be led astray (not to mention all o

Haha, for those who are supplying his funds, if they AREN'T already peasants, they will become peasants soon. Many contributing to this scheme are quite wealthy, bored, don't know what to do with their money, and wish to pretend to be martyrs and spend their money on their pursuit of enlightenment. The hapless bunch who are genuinely willing to 'support' mooji in his ende

The fish reference also stuck out to me. Mainly because I have heard this many times before in Papaji satsang recordings or books. Papaji would very often use this analogy of going to the pleasures and desires of the ego as 'going to the fishmarket', and would also frequently joke openly in satsang in front of devotees about how someone was still enjoying the smell of fish, or ask som

Hi guys, sahaja just uploaded new video, "Freedom at the Eleventh Hour". The second person speaking in satsang, Tapani, first came to sahaja after I was there for a couple of months, 4 something years ago. He never spoke really. He's still there, in satsang with mooji. Wow, it is bizarre to see this, he is asking him what is the difference between psychological mind and the

It's true, at the point mooji's speaking to you few others personally about current events, your mind is so gone at that point, that he's just reeling you in and directing your train of thought in whatever direction he'd like. But that's the point right? "surrender your mind to the guru" "just love him" If you disagree with him in moments like

Yes, I agree that his reactions to these events are very personal. Interesting as his regime is to entirely eschew personal experiences and events. He convinces people to release their person, then turns around and tells them what is ok to experience or not. He has total domination over some of these people. On the topic of banishing personal experience, I would like to say, that is a

I thought it was interesting I actually got through an entire video, usually I can't and have to turn them off immediately (if I do try to watch one) It's also nice to have an avenue to share this, I feel that going back and forth is part of the complicated process of distancing yourself from this type of experience. Perhaps similar to substance abuse situations, when you have a rel

Yes, a sense of humor I think is essential. Never really thought about it, but your right, although mooji often talks of being 'light', not taking things 'so seriously' it's clear that there are certain things within the mooji scene, that are not acceptable as humor (such as joking about mooji haha) I had an extremely difficult night last night and beyond my wishes th

I do remember some very hot work days that everyone would be working outside together and no one would think to take a water break. I never got 'sick' from this, but I remember someone staying at sahaja working with us saying, "noones drinking water? You guys have to drink water! That isn't good!" Everyone kind of ignored him like, "well, were under mooji's

Wow, can't believe I fell for the dupe of the century haha, I avoided all the other ones. Now I really feel ridiculous. *rolls eyes* I guess I wanted to believe so badly someone could just be 'good', I wanted to believe that 'gurus' exist, and I paid for those beliefs to come to life, in more ways than one.

It's pretty ingenious business formula actually, he's having people pay him to take away their 'person', which can never happen. This is a fundamental aspect of advertisements and business models, creating a formula to portray a product in a way that people think they need it. In mooji's case, he created a spiritual platform for a business, he gets paid to tell people

Haha!! Yes, this is awesome stefa! I feel like I'm starting to narrow in on what the dilemma is here with the mooji phenomena, and further my understanding on why it's underlying nature is so harmful. I remember at one satsang I watched, there were two young African American boys from NY coming to see him, mooji made an announcement in the satsang about them being there, I thin

Also this is important for all of the people affected by the Mooji craze, or mooji himself, it's not him hating you or anything you did to deserve the treatment you got, HE is thinking this is the 'right' thing to do, he is thinking he is 'helping' people, he is thinking he is 'saving' you from a lifetime of delusion.

The psychology behind all of this is very important to understand when looking at this. Without addressing the psychology of why a phenomena like Mooji or Sahaja would occur, it is utterly confusing and unclear as to why or how something like this happens

In short, they are entirely deluded, they believe they are doing humanity a favor by acting and treating people the way that they do, they believe they are justified in these things because they are 'High Spiritual Beings'

Over the ages, people of all religions have used their beliefs to justify their actions. It is easy for Mooji and Krishnabai to act this way because they feel it is there "responsibility" to act this way. They sincerely believe their 'job' is to 'convert' people, to Advaita (which is the worst thing you could do with a teaching like this) just as any evangelical re

Yes, I hope if anyone in Sahaja is reading this forum, please do not be afraid to speak out, or leave. Know that there are others who have experienced what you are experiencing, and also saw it as wrong. It will ultimately be a positive, albeit, extremely difficult turn for your life, that you will eventually thank yourself for.

So, for the 'senior' devotees, there are a good handful who are probably too afraid to leave the 'guru', because they'll be 'bad' and probably be 'punished by god', there are some there, because they have their own lives and can come and go as they please, and don't really care to discover the 'dirtiness' of sahaja, and some who are st

The rumors about Osho followers moving over to Sahaja is true, I would hear about that frequently. There is a lot of casual talk about that in sahaja, also met members from the Osho 'family' there. I remember hitching a ride to sahaja with two people, one pridefully talking about how he grew up in an Osho commune as a child, and the other scoffing at him, and telling him that osho was

I witnessed firsthand on 'exclusive' sahaja video footage, in portugal, Mooji and krishnabai, fingers interlocked with his arm around her waist in an embrace, at the opening of the "Christ chapel" on monte sahaja. They are lovers, but the issue is not that mooji cant sleep with someone, it is that it is being done through manipulation and coercion, of an emotional and spiri

I have been present on two occasions where someone has been ’sectioned’ and can assure you it is not an easy process to achieve, there has to be very good reason to do so. So don’t worry, your friend has not been dragged-off to some Dickensian institution by uncaring parents. He must in fact be quite unwell. Hope this helps. Thankyou, that sounds more accurate. I was thinking exactly that, ab
