I have never received any notifications concerning new entries on this page so I assumed no one was writing anymore! It happened quite by chance,God-guided, I found a page called Watchman wakes in Vain and I recognized some stories and saw my own story summarized in one line! But the link of course is not active. I AM HERE ready to tell the truth because I do not want what is happening to my paren

When anyone here is ready to get the info web page out please remember me. In Italy JMac is growing. He has opened an "academy" in Sicily where my father's old church used to be. This means more and more people are being brain-washed. I am particularly concerned about the psychological effects it can have on weak characters which can be devastating: especially as far as shunning i

Hello, I was on another discussion about Mac Arthur but now that the site has changed I don't know if it is still around. I am interested in learning more about what goes on "behind the scenes" particularly in the Masters Seminary and also if anyone has left the churches as victims. I can see the dates here are pretty old (2006) so I will not write further. Just add that my dad

Dear TP, It should be noted that your 'summary' is biased against the NKT and Dorje Shugden practitioners generally. 1. It contains an old version of a Wikipedia article that contained selective quotes from David Kay's Tibetan and Zen Buddhism in Britain: Transplantation, Development and Adaptation, a report that is many years old now and whose conclusions are dated to say th

QuoteMisstyk Tantric practice, Highest Yoga Tantra, normally isn't available to everyone who walks into the center or monastery. Of those who are chosen to receive the teachings and practice, many are told to practice by visualization, not with a consort..... Hi, I don't think you understand how Tantra is practised in the NKT. There is no sexual union. Anyone who engages in sexua

Here's a link to a website containing the Dorje Shugden prayers. You will see that there is nothing sinister in there and certainly no mention that Dorje Shugden is higher than Buddha Shakyamuni.

Hi superscot You say: But, (and this is one I wonder whether you'll answer or not...), there are lines in the Wish Fulfilling Jewel prayers which state that Dorje Shugden is higher than Buddha. As Buddhism is named after the historical Buddha Shakyamuni, that it heresy, pure and simple. Thankfully I burned those prayers. I do Wishfulfilling Jewel every day and there are no su

I'm here for the same reason that you are....because I want to be. We both have an equal right to be here. I think it's reasonable for people to hear both sides of an argument. What's the point of a forum where people are allowed to bitch on about spiritual traditions without being able to consider the counterarguments? That's indoctrination. The point of building a T

Hi superscot, I think you've missed the point of the International Temples Project. Seeing holy objects is for public benefit and thousands of people visit Kadampa Temples every year. It's not about converting anyone as most of those people are non-Buddhists and will remain so and Kadampa Temples and centres are open to everyone. There are plenty of charities that are caring for

Hi superscot, Your cynicism says that Kadampa Buddhism is not for you - fair enough, I hope you find a spiritual path that does suit you. So you want to study the Pali Canon and so forth - great! That doesn't mean that Tantra is not a valid spiritual path just because you have no faith in it. No one put a gun against your head and made you attend an empowerment. If you perceive peer

QuoteMisstyk Is NKT a sex cult in thin disguise? No, because Highest Yoga Tantra is not about sex. This is a common misunderstanding about Tantra. Monks and nuns who are celibate practise Tantra because it's not about sex - it's a special quick path to enlightenment that is the very essence of Buddha's teachings. Anyone with who has true compassion will want to practise Tan

Quotesuperscot It's hard to find the Eightfold path and Noble truths among all the 'worship your teacher' messages in Geshela's books... Anyone know where i can sell them? I think your books must be different to mine - this just goes to show how the mind does create the world! In my books, the path to liberation and enlightenment is very clear on each page. If you

The only thing that Geshe Kelsang Gyatso did to earn a bad reputation amongst Tibetan Buddhists was to oppose the Dalai Lama's sectarian ban of the Buddhist Deity Dorje Shugden. He was one of the very few who was brave enough to say that it was wrong for the Dalai Lama to do this and he has paid the price, but he's fearless in standing up for what is right, regardless of the consequenc

Hi Thomas, With respect, I feel your post contains some misunderstandings about the NKT. It's not true that the NKT is 'isolationist' because Geshe Kelsang and his students have been rejected by certain Tibetan Buddhist Teachers and traditions. For example, when the NKT joined the Network of Buddhist Organizations (NBO), many Tibetan Buddhist groups chose to leave because NKT
