Is Ching Hai initiation same as this in terms of reference to Master taking on Karma and obeying the law of the master? Also , in reference to refraining from sex and wedlock, is this also a vow to be taken when joining this group? It sounds like a very conservative approach to sex in such an area, given the type of people she may want to attract. Also on the subject of sexuality , can anyone

Hi there , to clarify it seems a forum for healthy discussion though I don’t agree with each and every view point. Ching Hai’s group is labeled a cult on this site and also Dalai Lama as well. I am not even sure why the Dalai Lama is featured as one of the topics, is he a cult? People are discussing him on one of your forums which I find disappointing, that he is in the same class as a lot of

hi there, there is healthy and robust debate in terms of this group. As stated I am interested to know how things may happen between initiates and non-initiates whether it be workable or not. Your views have been noted and I wish to just present another. not justifying the groups existence at all, but heed what is said here, but maybe believe that differences can be overcome by sharing

Dear friend, Point being is that critical thinking is not lost. Jsut saying that we can still be friends and leave some topics as they are. For example, you an dI may not agree on religion, politcal parties or certain government policies , but that does not mean we cnanot be friends. We may choose to not indugle in discussing such matters when we meet. that would assist in us remaining f

I think we have to have believe . in people. try not to concentrate on the her teachings, but rather just the company of the friends who happen to follow her teachings. make it a non -discussion and things wil be ok. Thats what I find works, when we talk not much mention of teachings etc just talk about other stuff. so happy days and things can work.. with hope comes faith.. with faith co

Hello there, Yes I am in Australia. I know some people who have been in this group and know there are mixed experiences by the people, some good , some not so good . Recently, have been getting to know people better in this group , my point is the wish to perhaps explore more meaningful relationships and whether or not this would potentially work. From what i am hearing from this forum, t

Dear friends, I believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt; I do believe there are moderate followers who may see things in a different perspective. For eg, there are Islamic extremists but that does not mean that all Muslims are bad. I think that even within this group there will be good decent people. Even though the master seems strange perhaps we need to also consider the benefit

hi there in reply i am thinking about embarking on a relationship with someone who is a member. whilst i know they are vegan and meditate daily, there is nothing in terms of their behaviour which is fanatic or cooercive. a couple of their friends who are in it are also pleasant people and when they talk it does not revolve around all this that i hear, it is easy going genuine conversation. we

Hello there, reading all this material has been very informative. i was wondering if members can tell me waht happens if you decide or want to leave, do they keep chasing you or calling you to attend for meditation etc? If you are a initiate and stop going to meditate do they start to call you all the time? I think vegan is a good idea but not sure about the rest. Also it says no don
