Not in her defense, but based on her countdown clock on SMTV, it is supposed to end something in February of 2013. That being said, she said because a huge percentage of folks have become vegetarian and all her meditation, we are saved for like another bazillion years. LOL We havent heard much from the group beyond the concert that has happened in Cali a month ago.

Ooops, accidentally started a new thread. Found this on fbook QuoteOnce in a Lifetime Opportunity Let’s just suppose, and please do not take any offense, that Supreme Master Ching Hai is, in fact, a living manifestation of God. She might be the highest incarnation of God, like a Krishna, Buddha, or a Christ, or perhaps only a lower level saint, or just a famous guru, but who, in any case

So looks like anything with the SM logo will no longer be produced and made as supposedly it's disrespectful for one to sit on the logo(like on pants or whatever) What this is doing is causing an artificial demand for initiates to buy up as much SM stuff as it is now "rare and no longer made" CLassic boiler room. Probably also serves to clear out old inventory from centers and i

LOL Just as we had all suspected. No more end of the world. Master saves the day. QuoteForeign GroupThis proves again that no one knows the future, except GOD! And once again, God gives human beings so, so much blessings, after She meditated extensively in personal retreat... Nostradamus predicted the world ends in the year 1999, and others said the world ends in the year 2011, or 201

Looks like SMTV is going to end today. I value SMTV and working with SMTV as it really opened my eyes to the real situation and was one of the sparks that caused me to leave the group. Strangely, if it wasn't for SMTV and dealing with the politics of it, I probably would still be blinded and still be following an aimless path. I wonder what all the staff in the Cali SMTV house are going

Run the link through google translate to get the jist of the thing. Basically, in Vietnam, SMCH is totally underground except in the semi progressive city of Saigon. It's illegal to be a cult follower(of any cult) in a communist society. Even in Saigon, Loving Huts/vegan resturants affiliated and run by followers of SMCH do not list it as such and there is no SMCH propoganda or SMTV playi

QuotegreenleafThere is a resident/Guan Ying Messenger in my previous post, who Madam CH has announced has suddenly moved up to 5th level and suddenly dropped to 3rd level after a few months. After the first announcement, disciples flew from all over US, some even from China to worship him, every weekend, there were about 300-400 people in the center. I was among these 300-400 people too, and peop

QuoteOcean_Of_Liesmonitoring Ching Hai...OSHAKATI – The Supreme Master Ching Hai church relief team last week donated food worth N$52 000 to the Oshana Emergency Coordinating Committee for flood victims in northern Namibia. That's $7800.00USD. I would bet that the money came from the local and regional centers, not directly from SMCH.

Actually, to clarify, in her "disciple only" DVDs, she states that she is a reincarnation of Jesus and Buddha. In addition, she claims that she is "9th level" and one with God(whatever that means) implying that she is God. She has been making some wild claims. To shake it off is very difficult, expecially from the older disciples, as it's part of their life now. Onl

QuoteThe Anticult Ms Ching Hai knows this 100%. That is why Ms Ching Hai bans people taking in information from other groups. Ching Hai wants total information control. She wants you to watch only her TV station, books, and media. ... Its interesting that you bring that up. A couple of years ago, I think 3 or so, SMCH rolled out what she called "merit points" where by doing certain

QuoteOcean_Of_Lies Of course, I also believe some disciples are not so kind inside, and they perfectly understand what's happening, especially the key disciples who manage the meditation centers. They can not possibly ignore the manipulation job from the top, as they are the relay of everything. . Absolutely, I have seen my fair share of bad seeds. Most are mild mannered, but when put i

As for the Presidents Service Award, anyone can get it. It costs a few bucks, a registration on the website etc. Over 2 million were given out so far, lol. Nothing exclusive or revolutionary about it. Here is a link: Presidents Service Award She got one from Bush also, but Obama sounds better. LOL, nutty. On the disaster relief though, this is usually how it shakes down. In the centers, the contact persons normally make a request for donations for disaster relief, most give checks with blank names in it so whoever could cash it. For the Haiti relief, I do recall it was to be forwarded to the Florida center to purchase supplies. If that was or was not done, I have no idea. Quite

QuoteOcean_Of_LiesHi TheAnticult, it seems that Ching Hai is in the vegan thing since a very long time, maybe since the begining of her life as a monk (she may have truely been a monk for a while, even if it was a short while... this has to be verified of course) Here is a lecture she gave in year 1989. <SIDE STORY> LOL at using Dr. Will Tuttle. The reason that Dr. Tuttle is in SMCH's back pocket is simple. The disciples single handedly made it a best seller on Amazon and possibly NYT. Let me tell you how. When Will's World Peace Diet book was released on Amazon, initiates got an email from Foreign Group(the administrative arm of the orginization) for initiates and centers t

LOL, what a sham with breatharianism. Everyone is motivated by a fella that SMTV interviewed named Jerico Sunfire, who claims to be bretharian, but has not been scientificially proven. Yes, they are on a fevered pitch towards not eating. Latest email from the group stated that the end of world is near and to refrain from going out in the public, eating too much, and meditate more. Actually, when I was last in the group, my wife and I were researching opening up a loving hut. Here are the facts(relevant as of a year ago). There are no franschise fees or revenue sharing arrangements between the resturant owner(s) and the orginization. However, all decor must fit their image standards with paintings, lanterns and crap, which is a revenue generator for the master. Loving h

QuoteThe AnticultLooking into the details of Ching Hai, and its very clear they are using all of the standard set-ups, operating like a business corp, using religious tax-loopholes internationally, etc. And yes everyone MUST be a vegetarian, and the best way to do that is to eat at the Ching Hai backed vegetarian restaurant. One assumes some of these are staffed by Ching Hai followers working fo

Actually Hitler being a vegetarian is one of the biggest vegetarian myths out there. He loved his sausage and stuffed pigeon(unfortunately not NYC pigeons). On Vegetarianism, lets not get off topic. It's a pretty healthy diet, provided you understand how to eat a balanced diet. I've been lacto-vegetarian for 18 years, no health issues to speak of, in good shape, and definately not

LOL, I find it interesting about that last passage. I remeber being in Taiwan center around that time frame (mid ninetys) when the center was frantically building an underground reinforced shelter of some sort. Last time I was there 2-3 years ago, it still sat unused. Kind of reminds me that a year or two ago ther was this "initiate only" video at the center that we were all calle

Just out of curiosity, is her finances based on fact or speculation? People working for centers 18hr's a day? There are no current centers that i am aware of that have people working 18hr's per day beyond her SMTV venture, which is not profit driven, nor is there any outside marketing. Centers do not accept donations beyond keeping them sustainable, property taxes current etc. N

I understand, thanks for the reply rrmoderator. By definition(wikipedia), any group that is beyond mainstream culture/religion is a cult. I think the word cult is often used in a derogatory term. The leader does control millions in assets, but that is mostly from the appreciation of value of the properties. She has held some properties since the early 90's that were purchased as distre

Sorry to dredge from the grave, but at 13:43, where the guy suggests an improvement, she responds by saying why not go breatharian and does not seem to insult the guys intelligence. Breatharian is actually a movement(retarded and dumb in my eyes and research) but a movement none the less. It is founded by a lady by the name of Jasmuheen which is from my research a true scam.
