QuoteStoic I do hope that BK has not pressured Janaki to delete her blog and that it is her own decision to move on. When I saw that the blog had been deleted, for some reason I had this thought that maybe BKI was tired of the Janaki backlash and decided it would be financially in their best interest to offer her a compensatory sum to remove it. They had no legal grounds to demand that she d

Am I behind the times or do you all know that Janaki's blog has been deleted? I was just about to link it for a friend of mine who asked if I had ever heard of Byron Katie (!!) and it is GONE! I don't see it linked on her website either. hmm.

QuoteChristaOkay, everyone, get the popcorn. Here's a link to BKI's July 22, 2009 Facilitator Teleconference. Please download, forward, spread, share, listen, and learn. And someone, make a transcript. What's posted on culteducation.com stays posted. This is also uploaded to wikileaks.com, so any attempts to pressure anyone to remove anything from anywhere will, alas

QuoteKeirQuotekagekiI am a little surprised to see absolutely no mention of these government programs on this site that has been talked about for years albeit usually in the "conspiracy" circles. . I have been aware of it for a number of years (Ive seen some interesting documentaries about it on tv). I think people were more focused with thier experiences with cults. Although

Quotehelpme2timesQuoteThe AnticultDoes Steven Sashen have a critical thinking area on his website? or an area on sales methods? of course not, that is his bread and butter. If Sashen sold a course on internet sales/marketing tech, it would show the various methods he uses. Maybe he does sell that course, but on another website? Steven Sashen has an article at Alternatives Magazine online, "

Here is a link to a bk "Satsang Report" by what appears to be an uninitiated, fairly objective guy who apparently "reviews" gurus. Make of it what you will, I found it interesting in that he inadvertently exposes some of the LGAT techniques that are employed at her workshops and their effects. He also reviews Tolle.

That is about the best darn summary of what's wrong with bk I've seen yet! I was looking for more posts on Janakis blog from people and re-read the text from the letter or e-mail she got from Katie about why she was taken off her website etc. It kind of read like bk was pretty threatened by Janaki's popularity as a purveyor of that cognitive parlour trick aka the work... Quotehelpme2timesQuoteThe Anticultbut, she has already bitten! Good point. A "bite me!" stance doesn't seem strong enough for the likes of BK. BK is a lot like the word "bark". One could imagine her as a little Shih-tzu, yapping away. (No offense to Shih-tzu's.) Thanks for saying no offense to Shih-Tzus!! They too expect to be adored, but are w

Quotehelpme2timesI second that apology. I feel deeply appreciative that Pilot has contributed some incredibly helpful information. Who knows how many people will be helped by it. Especially those who have "worked" for Byron Katie, as Janaki did, and got deeply burned. Thank you so much, Pilot. QuotecorboyPilot, I owe you an apology. QuotecorboyPilot, I owe you an apology. I let myself get rattled, after the troll visits weve had. Thank you Corboy, I am sorry for the misunderstanding, I came in here without the benefit of research and have been schooled, the Janaki blog sure opened my eyes. I hope to hear more from people like her in the future, I told my friend about the blog-you know the one who does the work-he real

Government sponsored mind control is real. It deserves more than indifference, it is only dominated by so-called fringe groups if that is the only research you are willing to do. It goes very deep.

Anyone watching tv is being mind controlled. And it's so easy to forget while it's happening it gets in your head and react emotionally to something completely artificial. Ballgames count too, lots of commercials, very slick ones. Planting in the rich soil of our minds: I want one of those!, need one of those, etc. All you have to do is scratch the surface and the ugliness and dec

It seems Janaki is updating her blog and rewriting bits, a new post "notes from Janaki" admits as much. I wish she would go ahead and spill the beans thoroughly. She's already getting hit with followers telling her she hasn't done enough "work". meh, if anybody has done it to death it's her, sounds like, she started her own modified version of it with the corp

After 30 years, not one Arica has ever been 'graduated' by Ichazo and told they're now capable of teaching independently. Check this out- I went to this school for the tai chi classes for one year. This was in 1996-97. One of the teachers in particular was always actively promoting Arica, and the other teachers sometimes seemed reluctant to go along with it. It was pushe

QuoteThe AnticultThe Byron Katie webpage for Janaki is not on the main page of Byron Katie facilitators, only on a seperate page. They could have put her webpage back up to try and damage Janaki. She said they removed her from the main-page, which is accurate. Payback is a bitch, and it goes both ways. Blowback is also a bitch. Clearly, Janaki has only presented a small amount of what sh

Quotehelpme2timesPilot, I definitely feel differently since you have shared the link re Janaki's experiences with Byron Katie, which I did not know about. Can you understand why I might have felt suspicious? Yeah I understand, much better now. I have to say reading this account opened my eyes-how good, well-meaning intelligent people get sucked in by her. It is pretty mind-blowing o

Sorry to offend, but wow you all got me all wrong- No, I think Byron Katie is very creepy. I do not troll, I stated an opinion about personal responsibility re LGATs, and I don't use the work for road rage, or anything for that matter. I stand by my view that people need to stop giving their power away to gurus, if you get hurt, you have to accept some of the blame, sure the big bad gurus

I went back and read the Jon Willis era posts and what happened with jj-it seemed to me that she got hyper sensitive when people had a different take on what was happening and couldn't handle the fact that others weren't as protective of poor suffering jon willis-so, I guess that is either a result of her experience with bk or the reason for getting involved with it in the first place.

Hey!! I just found this forum after reading the Guruphiliac Byron Katie thread! All I can say is WOW, you guys have done your homework!! Excellent information on here. I looked into BK because I have a friend that is into her and it kind of started to irritate me, the whole slavish devotion thing. My litmus test for any path is fairly simple: 1 does it cost money? 2 Does it induce gu
