Quotecraig&nancyyes it's true craig&nancy Craig and Nancy, thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. It must still be hard, even after these years that have passed. What a tragedy for your children. I, and others I'm sure, wish you all the peace of God in your hearts and minds. You are a courageous family. God bless each of you.

Don't worry about what will be done with the pool table. God knows the giver's intent. So don't worry over something that you need not worry about. Remember that there are good people at the ROC doing the right things. And don't be ashamed for suggesting to your employer about the ROC. We all were completely deceived and had no knowledge of wrongdoings until we hung out there

Rocgurl...God bless you. Go back to page 16 and read the ?s that rite2no asked. I think they are legit questions that warrant real honest answers. We who are writing on this site know first-hand the deception at the ROC. I bet some here were there a long time, leaders as well. But sometimes age has its advantages. I know some "older" folks who have left with very good reasons. Who is G,

There are some great people who go to the ROC Pun and no need to apologize for what you wrote. You spoke the truth and that's admirable. Doesn't surprise anyone (but saddens the readers of this site, I'm sure) that he was "messing" with a 14-year old. After all, that's what you read on this blog, that he left his first wife and took off with Sammi, 14 years old at th

EM - Burry. EM you are too sweet to know you are being deceived. Burry there is a lot of drama going on at the ROC. You better find the nearest exit and sneak out before the curtain falls.

EM, apparently you have not read ALL the posts here. The bad actions of those in leadership at the ROC have forced good people who worked the bus routes, fed the hungry, reached out to the homeless, cared for those young girls with young babies, provided rides for those who had no rides, and were totally deceived to check out of the ROC. You have not been there long enough. Hang around, you'

To AWStevens and the statements: Pastor G in his sermon last night in effect pointed me to this site … I didn’t realize that people were posting critical things on the Internet about the church and its leadership, until last night when he described in generality the nature of the allegations, said that they were being posted on the Internet, and he made litigation threats toward the people who ar

?'sROC: I agree with freeatlast, you need to pray for your family. Pray hard that their eyes will see the truth, their ears will hear the truth and God will give them wisdom to know the absolute truth. For when they do, they will no longer have that desire to be a part of the deception, and it is indeed deceptive. You need concrete evidence? What do you think all these blogs are? This is com

Here's something else to consider. Virginia law states that anyone working over 40 hours per week has to be paid overtime. If people at the ROC are working 60+ hours per week, they should be getting paid for that overtime. I'm not sure as to the law as it relates to non-profits, but overtime must be paid for people working overtime, which means time and a half. I doubt that the ROC pays

carpediem: You crack me up! Thanks for adding a little humor to a situation that is not at all humorous. The truth will come out eventually, as people keep telling their own stories and quit believing the lies as they open their hearts up to the truth. Some people know the truth yet are still hanging out at the ROC. I'm not sure why. I really am THANKFUL TO BE OUT!

God is in control and His timing is so perfect. Remember what truthseeker3 said back on page 1: If you want to know where the ROC is heading, check out what Set Free has been doing on the West Coast of late. Read Deuteronomy 32:35, Romans 12:19, Hebrews 10:30, Psalm 94:1. As much as we want to "go tell it on the mountains" I believe God really doesn't need our help in this. Ven

To XFan: I’m sorry about your experience. Your story is the same as many of us, different circumstances, but being totally deceived by the ROC and its main leaders. First let me say, don’t go back! Ever. It’s hard leaving your friends, but they are encouraged not to have contact with you anyway. They are told that you don’t want anyone to contact you and that you want nothing to do with the R
