Don't know if this will be a help, but you could try contacting the state departments in your country, as well as your country's consulate in the other country. We received some help from one of our congressmen in our family's own problems with a self-proclaimed "ministry leader." It's worth a try to contact officials, and if you do that, bring as much documentation
