Hey, outtathere. Could you say more about this? "Laitman is a con man who has motives beyond the publicly stated, and who wants YOUR money to further them."

If you're gay, forget about it... as far as I could tell, there is no room for gay people at BB who don't get married to women. Just don't expect anyone to come out (no pun intended) and tell you that directly... Yes, this group practises non-violent, cultural homophobia. I never heard any anti-gay insults, but creating an environment where it's not safe to be gay, where

Hi Simon, just my opinion: I think that the words of Mike and Tony and several other people who posted in the past speak for themselves... In his responses that you included in this post, Mike himself says that the questions regarding financial transparency are designed to test whether the organization is a cult. He then goes on to downplay the importance of providing such information becaus

I never knew that "machsom" was a term invented by Laitman. I don't know for what purpose he would invent such a term but the term certainly forms a central part of BB theology. Every effort is directed towards crossing the "machsom" into "spirituality". The more efforts youj make, the more light you attract which in turn makes it more likely for one to cross th

Skippy, I wonder why the public announcement for the next Congress has been pulled from the website? Are only BB students the chosen people to receive the light now? Welcome Venice. Do you mean that the reason why the Mideast Peace Plan brokered by Clinton failed because of Laitman's influence, sort of like a self-fulfilling prophecy?

Quote...being rude is actually a side-effect of spiritual attainment because rudeness is the ego fighting back against bestowal. It's shocking that it doesn't alarm more people that they're being taught that rudeness is a good thing. I always had qualms with this type of belief and similar ones touted by BB. These beliefs encouraged people to mistreat each other. For example, I r

Hmmm...that's interesting. I had a good look around on the BB website and I couldn't find the community forum where people normally ask questions. If it's been removed, that would certainly be very interesting since many of the online discussions we've been referring to are stored there. I wonder...has the evidence been destroyed???

Thank you very much for your feedback, Skippy. I’d like to touch on a couple of things you brought up. Quote1. I don't see evidence of anyone being openly pushed to disseminate BB material, yet the new members seem to be quite fond of the idea. No one is officially pushed to do anything in Bnei Baruch. The problem is, and anyone who has studied at BB knows this, that in order to advan

Just for the record, I would like to state that I believe that Bnei Baruch is a cult. I don’t expect everyone to agree with me but it is my opinion. I thought I’d add that women in BB ideology are considered to be more “corrected” than the men. This is the reason that the men have to study so much: to correct their ego-centered desires. A woman is created less “egotistical” than men. This was

Ok, I would like to add my own personal experience. I am a former student of Bnei Baruch who studied at the organization for over a year. After that time, I came to the conclusion that, even though many of the people I had contact with were very nice people and I had often enjoyed their company and the group’s cohesiveness, I eventually decided to sever contact with this unhealthy group for the f
