Sex is a factor in pretty much any social or religious movement, be it overt or subvert.

I do not think it is right to make assumptions. A swastika is only recently a symbol against jews (by hitler) and prior to this it had other meanings. Those who use it may oppose its having been taken up by the Nazi cause and attempt to take it back. I think it is no different from those who use 'gay' or 'faggot' or 'N-' with new meanings to try and invalidate the ol

I've heard that a couple yoga teachers/groups can get weird and too intrusive like this, but I wouldn't jump to conclusions about it until you've researched more about the specific type of yoga your GF is doing and who's teaching it to her. This is really something you need to get details on before anyone can help you, because there are lots of kinds of pretty innocent yoga fo

The things you mentioned really have nothing at all to do with the random outbursts. To be honest, based upon those phrases I think he's just messing with you or trying to be a jerk, or having outbursts. It's almost like trolling IRL or something.

I can't personally recall it but you make a good point, due to the cheapness it's probably something a lot of cults try. Although it's not all pluses, because adopted children aren't always as accepting and tend to be more rebellious, wanting their natural parents and stuff. Especially if they're older to begin with and have been raised on their own for a while my gues

There isn't really any 'healthy' dose of hatred. Hatred isn't really something that is healthy. A healthy person who is stable will be able to manage hate and not get swept away by it, but it doesn't exactly benefit them or anything. Hatred for people in particular seems mostly useless. It's better to hate things or ideas rather than people. Even then though, I

Teen Challenge sounds like something I've heard associated with Boy Scouts before, or maybe it's only similar sounding, can't remember.

I have no criticism for their chatlog program, I would prefer police were doing these things who do not have monetary/entertainment value, but I understand it leads to some good being done. I admit, the chatlogs do not lead me to like these guys, though some of them (the less extreme) I do not hate either. My problem is more with the organization's OTHER activities. That said, one can

Spiritualism is a more open term, a specific church name makes it easier to identify group activities, they generally have one. Although I'd agree that certain forms of spirituality are more easy for reinterpretation by people wanting to manipulate. Considering this has been done with all the major religions though, none are invulnerable to such diversion.

Unfortunately innocent guys are getting roasted alongside the perverts. Like people who aren't trying to meet minors for sex... Or meet them at all... Or talk to them about sex... Or talk to them at all. Essentially, if you talk to people who talk to each other about wanting sex if it were legal, they'll target you for assassination. It's a huge cult.
