Nothing ever happens within SIF or regarding SIF that is not known about. Being a devotee is a devotees whole life, they think and communicate and plan about everything. This thread started with a specific issue which I have been told repeatedly by sources that have proven credibility was resolved by the attention that was brought through here. That first post that was with regard to a minor b

Quoterrmoderatorcultreporter: Keeping up a Web site such as the one you have described is most often very inexpensive, perhaps a few dollars per month, probably less than $20.00. But that's your decision to make. This forum is not a "hostile" environment. It has rules regarding flaming, harassment, etc. and allows members to remain anonymous. It does seem th

Basically RR my goal is to be productive. Those that can possibly change anything do not want the site up because they want exclusive rights in conjunction with the launch of a new site and those that could be involved as former members choose not to be. The site has had consistent difficulties staying up for various tech reasons that arise from being on a fringe server and I have not been ab

In case you havent seen it yet, it is called an Open Letter to Australian School of Meditation because that is exactly what it is. I figured anyone interested would see it and not waste a post on it but apparently it is concern to the troll patrol/cult in the making that used to own this thread. I dont care what anyone thinks of me, that is the luxury of knowing that you have worked yo

I dont know if there is actually such a thing as a cult reformer, but there is an organisation called ISKCON Reform Movement (IRM) and I notice that there are quite a few Christians and Jewish people on this forum who oppose sects within their faiths without discarding the entire faith. Everyone knows that I am still a believer in Vedic knowledge. Reformer maybe but I dont apologise for them

Hi Rick, I do not see that this letter condones what happened in ASM or promotes ASM, I have put up a lot of information which is all true and mostly based on my own experience as far as ASM is concerned and I have made my criticisms about it known many times over. I have made my criticisms known to ASM also because I reason that if they were open and addressed some serious issues it would be

Dear Yasmine, Firstly thanks for your response, I was expecting to log in and get all manner of flames from the people on the other thread (which I supposse could still be coming) I have a lot more answers than questions myself really and the bottom line is I dont belive that all of the answers I have gotten from former devotees are absolute or even neccessarily close to the truth. To Whom It May Concern, I have recently spoken with a disciple of Siddhaswarupananda Paramahamsa who is associated with the Australian School of Meditation who has taken time to address my concerns and who has expressed his willingness to resolve the current situation with regard to the website www.cultofbutler.com (currently down) and associated its projects. I have never attempted to conc

It would depend on what your friend considers 'sensitised' to abuse - those who are responsible for the abuse are still there and still trusted to be in positions of authority including around children. The Children of ISKCON case is one of horrific systemic and philosophical child abuse. It it highly dubious to claim to be sensitised when the doctrine itself dictates that if a child

Mark Fergusson is the agent for a new business venture under Healthy's Inc - Healthy Foods at prices that wont make you sick (catchy name  ) defined as retail store services and mail order services registered in June this year. Dont appear to have any website yet. Maybe it is another one of their businesses that will disappear after 12 months - over here that is generally a tax dodge,

Damn right - except we differ on the point of being headed to be worse for the US than the US is - because I am pretty sure that we are already there. Just last month John Howard met with Hillsong and it looks as if they are also contributing to his finances.

Australian Prime Minister John Howard has admitted to meetings with the group, claims that they are a legitimate, legal organisation and says that he will meet with them again. I spoke to the Honolulu Advertiser today and the interest is not there in investigating Mike's devotion. The reason I was told for this was that they are not worried about asking their current govenor why she is Jewish so why would they ask him what his religion is. Evidently cult awareness is genuinely needed if the difference is not obvious.

I am sure that I will not be the only person waiting with interest for your next post. Over here that sort of thing just doesnt happen, I cant fathom why the Democratic Party would want to have anything to do with him. Certainly there can be no hope for seperation of church and state if Mike keeps progressing in politics (or meditation centre and state anyway) You mentioned that Mike h

As far as I can tell all of the individuals central in SoI are older, around mid-50s with the minor exception of a few of the golden oldies kids such as Michael Harvey running Noni (son of Linda Harvey, board member of SIF and operator/owner of the Sacrememnto Meditation Centre). Considering though that the older generation has deprived their children of an education and life experience how a

Makes sense Rama, Ash never saw him inside. What is your pov about him being still living? When was the last time that you saw him? Is it a possibilty that he is not sane/demented and not in control of SoI? There are some that think it possible that he has HIV/AIDs or a similar disease even I think it may be a possibility given recent photos - would appreciate your expertise on this.

Dear Yournamedas, Firstly of all it is true that there is a "network of friends" who watch this board and who would be more than happy to talk to you - although you should note that several of them were banned from here for defending SoI ie-asserting that it is not a cult and then coming back under different identities and then attempting to subvert the efforts to expose SoI

If you want to move on the first thing that you have to do is get rid of the mindset that there must be something wrong with you because you didnt fit into their cult, figure out what a cult is and break the cycle of dependence where you still feel the need to justify their crimes and abuses without reason.

What you have to say echoes what I have heard from SoI directly, nothing sinister going on, differences of opinion, the best thing is to move on. There is no such thing as serious student approaching initiation in SoI -

As to the question of why they are interested in this from a modern hippie perspective : There is a lot of information available that actually supports not having flouride in the water, it is a trend among the health conscious and alternative minded to avoid flouride and campaign against it. QuotejogravesI agree with what someone (was it you?) wrote earlier, too. No one likes being lied to. It pisses people off. I think that anyone that has ever been there has seen this - people getting upset because they didn't know this was some sort of religious thing. People are actually fascinated by re-incarnation, prana, karma, spirituality of yoga, but noone really teaches these. If an
