NoMinorChords: "All I can say is that was not my experience."? Not much of a defense. But that is all you can say given the sordid, troubled and well-documented history of Lifespring. Whatever your experience was the historical facts concerning Lifespring are easily accessible for anyone interested to read. Again see Many people were badly hurt by Lifepring training.

Dear Righttofight-- That's a pretty grotesque experience - I can understand why you're both pissed off and wary. All I can say is that was not my experience.

Hey No Minor Chords, I took this training 10 years ago. At the time it ruined my life. Lawsuit against my ex for getting me into this, restraining orders against a felon they encouraged to attack me, destroy my cars, thrown out of the MITT owner's office because I confronted her for being duplicitous and interfering in my personal life. You have no idea how destructive these training

(CNN) -- In case you haven't noticed, this election season is awash in money. By the end of July, Mitt Romney had widened his cash advantage over President Obama by $62 million. Romney has also been raising more money than Obama in the last three months. If Romney continues to outraise Obama, does it mean that he will win the presidential race? Can money buy elections? Historically, the

The vaccination to religious cults is knowledge. The difference between few decades ago and now is that the vaccine is more readily available to everybody. For that reason alone, religious cults should be irrelevant or are contained by now; Ideally, they should be dead. Just like the small pox virus. Easier said than done ...The mormon church is one of the fastest growing church in the world

According to the article below Oprah is losing her influence. If this is true, then this could potentially effect the new age/self-help market as she has been a huge promoter of new age mumbo jumbo. Personally, I'm not so sure she really is losing her influence given that her two shows in Toronto sold out as rapidly as they did, but hey, what do I know? Oprah left off Time’s ‘Most

Personally, I think that an open "Mormon" has as much chance of winning the USA presidency as does an open Scientologist, an open Jehovah's Witness, or an open Satanist. It can't happen. I could be wrong. (I would prefer voting for an open "Rationalist")

Furthermore, this forum is NOT POLITCIAL. So when a major (USA) politician enters the scene who has a religion of question it is a fine line to walk to post on this within forum rules. Again...DO NOT POST POLITICS. Stick to Mormonism and mainstream America. Thanks.

Former Governor Mitt Romney is a well respected Mormon (LDS). I know that "Mormonism" is NO LONGER considered a cult, but it is a "questionable" religion of fairly recent origins (1820's). Does anyone see his religion playing a role in the US presidential race? Personally, I am apolitical here. This is NOT a political thread. Do NOT post your personal poilitical op

Very good stuff and totally true. I would get help after visiting one of these things. I was in a thing called MITT in LA run by a fat, ignorant, mean Dutch hairdresser. It's comical. But very sad. She would berate people with no money who put their rent payment into doing the seminars. "Why don't you go find the money to move ahead? Do you want to be losers all your life?&qu

And, this mess is aggravated because those victimized are often willing to inflict turnarounds

That's pretty accurate. What's your point? When you go from this beginning phase to the advance phase, the screw tightens. It becomes more rigid and more closely aligned with your "word" is your commitment to bring in bodies to the LGAT. Beginning phase almost seems like fun games. As you move forward in this process, the road narrows. They put more emphasis on living

This is a sick organization run by a whacked out fat Dutch woman who use to be a hairdresser. If you are coerced then document it. Send a certified letter to your employer. When they fire you have a wrongful termination suit.

Just say "no - I choose not to do that training". An employer cannot force their workforce to parttake in such a training as MITT or whatever LGAT they try to promote. If you know of any tips you could give me, I'd really appreciate it. I don't want to come out of this thing damaged. Thanks alot.
