Muslim Missionaries Converting Jewish Women in Israel

One Jewish woman converted to Islam after immigrating from the Caucasus; the other, from Croatia. Al-Jazeera reports that an organization in the Arab Israeli village of Kafr Qara has been, systematically and slowly, spreading Islam to Jewish women.

The group is called Dar Al-Islam (lit. "house of Islam"), and is located in the village of Kafr Qara, in north-central Israel.

One of the converts has renamed herself Aisha - after the wife of the Muslim prophet Mohammed who married him at age 9. When Aisha was visiting Israel from her native Caucasus, an Arab handed her a pamphlet entitled "The Way to Happiness." Back home, when afflicted with a serious illness, Aisha thumbed through the pamphlet.

The pamphlet gave her comfort - and roped her in to the world of Islam. After she contacted the Dar Al-Islam organization, who had distributed the pamphlet, she studied Islam rigorously for 6 months before going to the Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem to convert.

According to the report, she kept Islam in secret for months, only revealing her decision to her father; she describes her mother as a religious Jew and an "extremist." Eventually, she ran to the Dar Al-Islam center, where she lived there with 5 other Jewish girls who had chosen to convert to Islam.

Aisha's friend, a woman in her mid-twenties from Croatia, chose the name Hanin when she converted. She claims what drew her to the faith is "the way Islam treats women and family life" as well as seeing positive conversion experiences from her friends.

The center's director, Sheikh Rassan Athamneh, is also Imam of the Nida Al-Haq Mosque. The center publishes books on Islam in several languages - including Hebrew - and sends out missionaries of sorts of both genders to spread Islam in Israel.

From the report, it is evident that women are the primary target of the organization - especially unhappy Jewish women with little to no background. The organization appears to lure them into the fantasy of a traditional family life, while leaving out the systemic discrimination Islam often employs against women.

According to Islamic law, women must ask permission to leave the house at any time. After marriage, a woman is instructed that she must be available at all times to satisfy her husband's whims - with or without her explicit consent. The Quran allows husbands to hit their wives if they disobey them, and it is common for Muslim men to take multiple wives.

The tactic of luring women away from modern Western views of women's roles is not new among Islamists. In December, the pan-Islamist group Hizb ut-Tahrir held an event in Jerusalem, featuring a 13 year old girl preaching against women's rights.

CLICK ON LINK: Christmas bombings kill 34 in Iraq

(Reuters) - At least 34 people were killed in three bombings in Christian areas of Baghdad on Wednesday, including a car bomb that exploded as worshippers were leaving a Christmas service, Iraqi police and medics said.

Elsewhere in Iraq, at least 10 people were killed in three attacks that targeted police and Shi'ite pilgrims, police said.

Iraq is enduring its deadliest violence in years, reviving memories of the sectarian bloodshed between Sunni and Shi'ite Muslims that killed tens of thousands in 2006-07.

The day's deadliest incident occurred in the Doura district of southern Baghdad when the car bomb went off as Christians were emerging from a Christmas mass, killing at least 24 people.

Shortly before, two bombs in a crowded market in a separate, mostly Christian area of Doura killed another 10 people.

Ahmed Edan, a policeman on duty in the area of the attacks, said the sound of the first of the two explosions caused worshippers to leave the church.

"A car parked near the church exploded when the families were hugging each other goodbye before leaving. The blast was powerful," he said.

"Bodies of women, girls and men were lying on the ground covered in blood. Others were screaming and crying while they were trying to save some of their wounded relatives."

No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attacks in Baghdad, which also wounded 52 people.

Iraq's fast-dwindling Christian minority has been a target of al Qaeda Sunni militants in the past, including a 2010 attack on a church that killed dozens of people.

U.S. CONDEMNS "SENSELESS" ATTACKS

The U.S. embassy in Baghdad condemned the bombings, saying in a statement that Christians in Iraq had suffered "deliberate and senseless targeting by terrorists for many years, as have many other innocent Iraqis".

Al Qaeda-linked militants have stepped up attacks on Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki's Shi'ite-led government and anyone seen as supporting it in recent months. More than 8,000 people have been killed this year, according to the United Nations.

Car bombs, shootings and suicide attacks killed scores of Shi'ite pilgrims in the week before the Shi'ite holy day of Arbain, which coincided with Christmas Eve this year.

On Wednesday, a bomb struck a minibus in southern Baghdad carrying pilgrims back from the Shi'ite holy city of Kerbala, killing three and wounding eight, police and medics said.

To the west of Tikrit, 150 km (95 miles) north of Baghdad, gunmen killed three policemen on patrol, police sources said.

A bomb exploded near a football pitch in the town of Ishaqi, 100 km north of the capital, killing four people, including two policemen, and wounding eight, police said.

Prince Charles: 'Muslims Persecuting Christians'

After visiting British branches of Middle Eastern churches, Britain's Prince Charles reached the conclusion that "Christians in parts of the Middle East are being deliberately targeted by Islamist militants in a campaign of persecution."

The Prince of Wales visited the Egyptian Coptic Church in Stevenage, north of London, and the Syriac Orthodox cathedral in west London. In talking with church leaders, accompanied by Prince Ghazi of Jordan, Charles heard tales of massive persecution following the 2011 "Arab Spring."

"For 20 years I have tried to build bridges between Islam and Christianity to dispel ignorance and misunderstanding," Charles said in a speech later at Clarence House, attended by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Archbiship of Westminster and the Chief Rabbi, reports BBC.

Charles acknowledged "we have now reached a crisis where bridges are rapidly being deliberately destroyed by those with a vested interest in doing so. This is achieved through intimidation, false accusation and organized persecution including to the Christian communities in the Middle East at the present time."

Prince Charles's comments join other official expressions of concern regarding the region. In November, Pope Francis stated that the Vatican "will not resign itself to a Middle East without Christians," during a meeting with Christian leaders from the region.

It has been charged by many that Christians in the Middle East are in grave danger, particularly in the current unrest since the so-called "Arab Spring" unrest began.

Christians have been caught in the crossfire of Syria's war. On December 2, Syrian rebels captured the historic Christian town of Maalula, reportedly kidnapping 12 nuns. Meanwhile Islamist rebels publicly beheaded a Catholic priest in July, in the northern Syrian town Idlib.

One Christian leader told BBC that a third of Syria's Christians have fled the country, joining the 2.2 million refugees of the bloody conflict.

Former Israeli Ambassador to the US, Michael Oren, noted in 2012 that the Christian population in the Middle East dropped from 20% a century ago to 5% currently amid ongoing persecution.

Oren said that in Egypt, 200,000 Coptic Christians fled their homes in 2011 amid anti-Christian violence during the Arab Spring uprising that toppled dictator Hosni Mubarak. Ongoing violence in the country continues to target Christians.

In 2012, Saudi Arabia's top Muslim leader, Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdulaziz Al al-Shaikh, issued a fatwa (religious decree) to demolish all churches on the Arabian peninsula.

Currently, Israel is the only Middle Eastern country whose population is growing, rather than shrinking.

At least 14 killed as bomb rips through trolleybus in terror-hit Russian town

Explosion in Volgograd came a day after a suicide bomber killed at least 17 people in the main railway station of the southern city.

A bomb blast ripped a trolleybus apart in Volgograd on Monday, killing at least 14 people in the second deadly attack in the southern city in two days and raising fears of further violence as Russia prepares to host the Winter Olympics.

The morning rush-hour bombing, which left mangled bodies in the street, underscored Russia's vulnerability to militant attacks less than six weeks before the Sochi 2014 Games, a prestige project for President Vladimir Putin.

It came less than 24 hours after a suicide bomb blast killed at least 17 people in the main railway station in the same city, a major transport hub in southern Russia.

A Reuters journalist saw the blue-and-white trolleybus reduced to a twisted, gutted carcass, its roof blown off and bodies and debris strewn across the street. Federal investigators called the blast a "terrorist act."

"For the second day, we are dying - it's a nightmare," a woman near the scene said, her voice trembling as she choked back tears. "What are we supposed to do, just walk now?"

The consecutive attacks will raise fears of a concerted campaign of violence before the Olympics, which start on Feb. 7 in Sochi, about 430 miles southwest of Volgograd.

In a video posted on the web in July, the leader of insurgents who want to carve an Islamic state out of the North Caucasus, a string of Muslim provinces south of Volgograd, urged militants to use "maximum force" to prevent the games from being held.

A female suicide bomber from the North Caucasus killed six people on a bus in Volgograd in October.

Spokespeople for the International Olympic Committee in Lausanne, Switzerland, could not immediately be reached for comment on the most recent bombings.

In power since 2000, Putin secured the Games for Russia and has staked his reputation on a safe and successful event. He has law enforcement agencies to ensure security at the Olympics in Sochi, at the northwest end of the Caucasus mountain range.

Putin was first elected after winning popularity for a war against Chechen rebels, but attacks by Islamist militants whose insurgency is rooted in the war have clouded his 14 years in power and now confront him with his biggest security challenge.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for either of the Volgograd attacks, which left dozens wounded in addition to the deaths. Authorities said 37 people were hospitalized after Sunday's attack and 23 were reported wounded on Monday.

After the attack on Sunday, in which authorities said a bomber detonated explosives in front of a metal detector at Volgograd station, Putin ordered law enforcement agencies to take measures to enhance security.

Police said additional officers would be sent to railway stations and airports nationwide and more extensive security checks would be conducted.

But the attacks raised questions about the effectiveness of security measures that the Kremlin routinely orders increased after bombings.

More attacks can be expected before the Olympics and cities in southern Russia where the Games are not being held are easier targets than Sochi, said Alexei Filatov, deputy head of the veterans' association of the elite Alfa anti-terrorism unit.

"The threat is greatest now because it is when terrorists can make the biggest impression," he told Reuters. "The security measures were beefed up long ago around Sochi, so terrorists will strike instead in these nearby cities like Volgograd."

"Half of our traffic police and emergency workers have been sent to Sochi," said Alexei, a Volgograd resident whose wife called from her car after hearing the blast and seeing the gutted trolleybus.

"She heard cries - I could hear her voice shaking," he said. "Then she locked herself in the car and gave way to hysterics."

A city of about 1 million, Volgograd is one of the venues for the 2018 soccer World Cup, another high-profile sports event Putin has helped Russia win the right to stage, and which will bring thousands of foreign fans to cities around Russia.

Sunday's attack was the deadliest to strike Russia's heartland since January 2011, when a male suicide bomber from the North Caucasus killed 37 people in the arrivals hall of a busy Moscow airport.

Investigators initially said a woman set off the bomb that filled the front of the railway station building with a massive orange fireball on Sunday, but later said the bomber could have been a man.

Westboro Baptist Church (disgustingly @godhatesfags.com)is famously anti-gay, anti-Jew ("the Jews killed Jesus"), and pickets churches and organizations to spread their hatred.

While Christian churches have publicly condemned the WBC, I have not seen much evidence of the above Twitter statement against Islamic terrorism. The "moderate" Muslim community is either silent or just doesn't get covered in the media. But when they do speak out, they seem to disappear. For example John Stewart's counterpart in Egypt, Bassem Youssef lost his job and was labeled as a Zionist agent and traitor.

Also, as abhorrent as is the Westboro Baptist Church, they do not engage in terrorist bombings or other acts of violence...well,if you don't count rhetorical violence...

It was particularly heinous because it was when people were out shopping for the holidays. Most Russians celebrate with "New Years" trees. They are Christmas trees moved to a secular holiday from the times of communist rule. He purposefully targeted a crowded area of civilians.
He looks so ordinary... he keeps looking to his right seemingly looking for cues... His gestures and voice are without passion. He looks nervous but is speaking about murder in such a matter of fact tone...

Volvograd Bus Bomber Left a Video: “I Have Come Here Only to Make Allah Pleased”

The Volgograd train station bomb that killed at least 17 people on Sunday was set off by a Russian man from the nearby region of Mary El who had converted to Islam and joined Dagestani militants, officials said.

The suspect, identified as Pavel Pechyonkin, worked as a paramedic with an ambulance service but left home in 2011 and joined Dagestani militants after converting to Islam and changing his name to Ansar Ar-rusi.

In response to his parents’ video appeals for him to come home, Pechyonkin posted his own video online this spring, saying he was following God’s will and would not turn back.

“I have come here only to make Allah pleased with me, to earn heaven,” he said in the video.

-A very good point. Well, it's this simple: if Scientology had a billion followers and controlled much of the world's gas and oil reserves, they would be considered "one of the world's core faiths", and the UN would be discussing banning criticism of them.

Also, unlike Scientology, some of those billions are directed right into academic programs in the U.S. at our major universities to whitewash various unpleasant aspects of Islam. If Scientology had that kind of money, you would start seeing things like "The L Ron Hubbard School for Religious Studies" at Harvard, partly because Univ. presidents are largely whores. That academic control allows terror apologists to dictate much of what is said in the cultural capitals of the U.S. (State Dept, New York Times, WaPo, Ivy League schools, cable news, etc.)

Couple that with heavy collusion between Islamists and the oil industry folks on the RIGHT, and you have a lethal mix of PC blindness and corporate corruption that ensures we will have Boston Marathon-type assaults continuing into the future.
