Has anyone heard of Congregation Shirat Hayam in Massachusetts? Their Rabbi goes by the name Rabbi B.. Theirs is a shul that claims to be Conservative, but for the past two years truly preaches a complete New Age mantra.

From their chanting at "renewal meetings", to in house Kabbalah sessions (he reccomends the infamous Berg, kabbalah empire book collection), to his own "Torah Yoga", "Mensch Therapy" (his own brand of pop psycho babble), and on the Rabbi's own website (www.rabbib.com) he instructs everyone to watch great film classics such as "What the Bleep", and also (in their spare time) to contact his sister for spiritual guidance... She is an individual who he boasts "can help you uncover your past lives, and future mysteries, etc... "

I wonder why is it legal for clergy to be allowed full range of counselling services without proper training? Shouldn't there be some kind of regulatory body?

And, who can these congregants turn to if they are abused, or taken down shady unclear paths by this "rabbi"?
