After watching a documentry about women being kidnapped and then being forced to become prositutes. I was totally flabegasted by it all. Even with the fact how various governments dont take it as a serious crime. I forget the name of the documentry but there was one guy who was trying to get his wife back from some pimps who kidnapped her. It was quite brutal. They kidnapped her from some country in Eastern Europe and then had her smuggled into Turkey and was repeated raped and beaten. And the fact that kils me was that after the pimp was arrested the Turkish government gave him just a slap on the wrist (quite common in many nations to treat kidnaped women sold into prositution as a slap on the wrist) - a month probation.

The way that pimps tortured and manipulate these victims into submission reminds me of an old Gerraldo Rivera show about pimps and "pimp talk" and how these pimps keep pressure on these girls until their will power and self esteem breaksdown. Its nothing but a form of brainwashing and logical mind and emotional cohersion tactics.

I'm an old biker. I learned decades ago that many outlaw motorcycle gangs trade in women and profit from prostitution. It would amaze you how many sex workers (strippers,prostitutes,porn stars)in this country are "property"? I've had women offered to me for sex and for sale a number of times a clubhouses,bars,and rallies over the years. It's very widespread and because of the nature of the women involved law enforcement cares very little about it.

The Eastern European example you gave is one way of "breaking them in" that's used here.The girl is brought up to clubhouse to party,is gang raped over a few days,and turned out in a strip club or on the street in a distant town. As a lot of these girls had problems before they get turned out,people figure they've run off and their never missed. The people who encounter them working figure they're doing it willingly and never think twice. It's a brutal business.

I would add alot of these girls are coerce or forced to take drugs and become addicted. Once they are addicted its usually too late for most of them. Its a vicious cycle; they need to continue to work as prositutes feed that addiction.

Yeah I herad about that alot about motorcycle gangs and how girls are bought and sold.

Its true that government and law enforcemnt dont take it too seriously. Its just simply "another run away" or "a willing prositute for hire" to them. They just deport them or whatever. Its "bussiness as usual" to them. They dont see and understand the whole social dynamics of teh phenomenom.

Yep. Once you're in that life it's damned near impossible to get out.

I am very interested to get in touch with you Lardlad. I am writing a feature on biker gangs for Bizarre magazine but am finding it difficult to get any bikers to put their side of the story across especially after what happened in Canada.
Really I just want someone to put over the reality of biker life and to either support or refute the claims of 'experts' I have spoken to.
I really hope you can help me out with this. Would be much appreciated.

I wud definately agree wit u...i am frm india & this is one of the worst places where u will find abundant prostitutes...at least lately the govt here is doin sumthin to at least lessen the prostitutes trade in goa & slave trade too...
another problem here is dat most ppl r uneducated here & therefore they believe the empty promises made to them...sum days back i also read that a father sold his daughter to a pimp coz he cudnt support the family for their expenses..can u imagine willingly for a father to put his own daughter into flesh trade...???
plus she has to send watevr money she makes to her father in the village to support her family...its one thing to be brainwashed..but its a bit more wen ur own father doesnt condemn it & is ready to make u lose all ur self esteem...not bothering wat he daughter must be feelin inside?used? abused? betrayed? watelse? he makes the daughter feel dat it is her duty to do such a disgusting thing & makes her feel dat ... that was the reason she was brought into this world...
