Support Groups For Ex Cult Members

Do they exist in any sort of formal or informal fashion? Support groups are excellent for things like leaving abusive or destructive relationships with people or places. With moving on with a major life change from a major life event. And making it easier to talk about things because you are with people who understand, there is less explaining to do. I still find it hard to make sense of my time involved.

My wife and I facilitate a support group for former members of cults, high-demand groups, or spiritually abusive groups. The support group provides a safe place to discuss personal experience as a former member, a nonjudgmental group of peers, and basic educational information about cultic groups. The group meets on the 4th Saturday of the month from 3-5 pm in Dallas, Texas. Call 214-607-1065 or e-mail at info@dallascult.com for more information. Also see [www.dallascult.com]

Potential participants must be screened prior to an invitation to attend.
