For me, and I am only self educated but learing Basic Bilblical consepts, reading world history, ... political theory, philosophy, cultural transmission and discovering that there are personality differences slowly began to wash away the residue that had been passed on through my mother on to me.

Now I need to figure out how to help my adult children
