When you start to realise that it’s all crap...

.. it is so important to look after yourself to most highest standards possible.

This means putting you first, something that you may find difficult to do, particularly if you adhere to ahimsa as a lifestyle choice.

This means not continuing to teach or partake in the same ideas that are breaking down within you, so that your brain can process and recover.

This means getting the correct nutrients for you, and drinking plenty of good fresh water and fluids.

This also means going in for a hug with somebody from time to time.

Large sections of, and even our entire lives may have been spent in utter dedication to practices that we may now start to recognise for what they really are. This in itself can feel like an unbearable loss, it must be acknowledged, and putting ourselves first, likely for the first time in a long time.. if not ever, will be the best support in getting through things as our feeling states and brains recalibrate toward settling down.

All of us are important on the planet, and not one of us are exempt from making mistakes.

It is the moment that we recognise our mistakes and make the decision to choose differently, to actively do our best to not make the same mistakes again.

This gives us our power back, because once we choose to make our own decisions, based on ourselves personally - not the teaching, the class, the condition, etc, we are back in our own driving seat and ready to carry on with our lives once again.

Here is a repaired copy and paste of my post, minus a paragraph towards the end which somehow made sense to me at the time of posting :D
