My friend's son and his mother (his common-law wife) have been missing for over 2 years, with no contact. The boy is now 5 years old. They are living in one of the 12 Tribes communities, but not the one where they were last seen. Unsure if she (and the boy) was taken against her will or not. Although the courts have granted the father (my friend) full custody since then, authorities have made little effort to retrieve the boy or discover his current whereabouts.
