It takes a long time to fully establish your own new identity, and then to build friendships and other relationships based upon your solo identity. But you CAN do it. I promise. I did. It took years, while raising my (also cult born) three children alone & obtaining higher education and a profession. It's worth every step of that juggling and educational debt.
