False doctrine is anything that does not bring us PEACE.

Great info on IHOP, Factoverfiction. I can see many similarities. Besides the others you listed, they believe that their prayers will bring judgment and the return of Christ. They plan on being around for the tribulation, and seem to be prepping accordingly.

Interesting that G&M were so into connecting with other unusual groups. I seem to remember them discouraging members from doing that for themselves. Why do you think that they searched out so many groups?

WOW! "Validation" puddington is a good word for spying as well.

"They" don't want to be exposed, either. If one goes down, the likely hood others will be exposed. i gues they have no confidence in what ever "higher power"/ god they believe in. I personally don't believe "their" invisable god is anything like the creator of the universe.

I wonder if some cults may "think" about blending as a mega church...no, not a word from god to my heart. I suspect they don't want to be outdone and may have trouble deciding who can be on top.( pun intended.) Do/ will they need a new money laundering tax shelter?

"Church" is big business. The control is fear factor buying your way on the the "big ship" that can fly surviviors to another planet to survive Global disaster in a 'spiritually' stated sense of the concept.

'If' god judges the Earth and LW or ihop prayers for the judgement I guess they have kudos with god so there is no need to "worldy knowledge" or plan for the future. 'Cult god' will take care of you...and what happened to the salvation of Jesus Christ?

A humans afraid to be in thew world so "we" can get so focused on crossing the special spiirtual goal line that a loving creator never had planned. Yet the goal of being so controled by prophesy really goes against what the Bible teaches.
The is some kind of line between real spiritual faith and either stupidity or neurologicl mental illness seeing things that no one else sees. It is all to easy to fall into another person delissions as a cod-dependant that keeps the illness going. I know, I fell into a similar delussion of a schizophenic with well organized dellusions as the walk, becasue I still was in the old record groves of the tribulation; judgement of the sinful world, prophesy. manipualtive tricks and lies and being so much more chosen with a "special job". WE are al vulnerable untilwe know the sign that we still ahve to geet fixed.

I said it before and I will say it again with disgust that the MO for cult leaders is that of a child preditor." You are so special. NO one else will understand our unique secret love. Don't tell any one they will get mad.If you love me you will not ever look at any one else be cause what we have is so special. I will die with out." That puts so much burden on an child who has not have the time to mature,et.

It is good to be king, or a member of the court.

Doesn't every church have a resort with a bar, fully stocked wine cellar, circular driveway for stretch limo parking, pool and grand entrance with a fountain?

At Rayen it is pretty common that they will open it up to the whole congregation for dinners or what not. There is a house there that 3 or 4 girls live in.

Maybe 5 or 6 years ago they built a bar in the corner of the dining hall at Shiloh and when there are dinners or events they open it up for everyone. My favorite thing to notice is that all the people of power would get fancy glasses and frosted mugs when everyone else got plastic cups.

I've had occasion to be in a VIP section. Only later did I discover it referred
to very insignificant person. Hence, the plastic cup I received. It all makes so much sense now!
