I have read this thread over and over. She systematically took over step by step, day by day year by year. She knew all the dirty little secrets that boosted her grandiose dellusions that she is god...am I getting that correct?

I feel horible for the things I say about some geographical groups in the walk. I hear all to often " We are under grace. We can do what we want." No one took the people with addiction problems aside who were leadership?

My ex had said, " I found out i'm an alocoloic after only DHS forced him to go to a few AA meeitngs. I have a disaease. You are co-dependant so you are sicker than me. God has given me grace to drink when I want." I think the "brothers" he was around in Anahiem shared his attitude but they were better at covering up than my late husband.

M knew all the dirty secrets because the taped minstiry. I wondered why the male leaders which I think is so very natural to be in eadership ( Not meant as sexist remarek) They missed her sneaky plan to be queen of the world. Excuse me, I think she had the leaders by the bal#s black mailed. I am horrified at what happened to loving people.

M, I think, wanted her own version of wt haAimme Semple Mc had FAME, adoration, to be god. M was an opporturnistist who took over step by step, day by day. Th leaders should have seen it coming all under the guise of the Kingdom is at hand.

Now that she is dead...did she think she was immortal? I watched some of g vidoes where he said M is here with us. Sound like a sick denial name dropping because he was maybe demasculenated? But he had all the golden rule.

Sounds like M upset the balance of ancient family structure so she could be god with woman in submission to here and the men dominated /fearful under her feet with the help of "elevated" women... how how woman friends doing? Pretty much I have only read about the men leaders kicked out...which was a better place for them. But how could they support themselves then? Cult leader and prayor warrior of the queen of heaven is not the best thing to put on a resume.

Thank you for allowing me to express my shock and horror and what things turned into. I hope and pray no other good people fall into this kind of sick trap again.

I apologize for being a page hog. I have given some back history on the walk. Even though I have given you as accraute as i can typ-o plese do not eer take my word for fact. Look where we got outselves from believing everything one mand said.

If you have not yet read any thing about pre-walk days her is pretty good link for the history on Azusa. Yes, this is where the walk got its' start. Many thing "we" were lead to belive were jrs revelations I think you will see the wher they started from

"sign of something that would plague Pentecostalism and become a part of its character: divisiveness. Two other problems that would later infect Pentecostalism ...: fraud, and the presence of occultic mysticism along its edges. .... problems in Pentecostalist history: racism, authoritarianism, and sexual scandal. .... troubles with going by exciting experiences is that much of what went on was not thought through as thoroughly as was needed. So, not only were the greatest strengths of Pentecostalism born at Azusa, but also its most serious problems."

JRS "his father to attend Bible school in Los Angeles at the famed Angelus Temple, founded by Aimee Semple McPherson; the Stevens family moved to California in 1929, during the Great Depression. His father completed his studies in the spring of 1933, at which time he moved the family back to Iowa and began the Christian Tabernacle church in the town of Washington. John Stevens, who had attended many of the Angelus Temple classes with his father, taught the children’s Bible study and helped prepare his father’s sermons"

I shared a link abut aimme S Mp earlier. I highly suggest research on her back ground will also answers some questions on waht I am convinced is that jrs did not have an origional "revelation" on his own.

Use the url to read the full enlightening articles . Show hos the deception unfolded.

I met Jrs in Washinton, Iowa for the first time when he visited and guest preached around 1957 or 1958. I was 7 or 8 years old. I feel kind of heart broken that I believed so many lies. Around '63 the open bible on the podium scripture reading changed.

Ahhh...., Binaca, I wonder if they still sell that stuff. It was sort of like TLW “holy water”.

Don't remember the Binaca, but I doubt the CTLW band or shepherds would bother these days. Do other churches have a bar? Not sure, just checking.

That alone should give TLWF a competitive edge against other churches. I think they need to be more aggressive in getting the word out.

"Our church has a bar. Does yours?"
(possible church sign)

You know, they really should advertise that on the website. Along with, anything goes here, as long as you worship the leader. Or have money. Or both.

Looks promising, huh. Check out TLWF's updated marquee.

"Anger management classes postponed till Gary's wedding."
