Regarding the posts. About Gary and the cup. My sources tell me. There is something serious going on. The cup is not a joke.

NickleandDimed, do you have any idea what it's about?

Now for something completely different:
My 23andme results came back, and it roughly confirms the ancestry.com results:
56% British & Irish
24% Ashkenazi Jew
20% Other
My wife's take on this is that by combining the British, Irish and Jew you invariably end up with a person that is certain to have a sarcastic streak.
What a narrow-minded view! I'm determined to love her anyway.

Thanks for changing the subject, changedagain. My OCD, PTSD, and AD were starting to kick in. :-o
Tell your wife she's probably right about that. You have displayed that sense of humor here often. ;-)

Here are the sermons that I believe TheycalledmeJonah mentioned.

Make of it what you will. My take is that the people will suffer.

excerpt from "Together, We Drink This Cup"

"It is not enough that I alone drink the cup the Lord is asking of me, but there must be a people who enter into the same commitment to drink this cup. It is time for each one of us to take responsibility for the Word of God over us. We have been given the perfect direction and provision in the Word that John Robert Stevens spoke."

Zero humility, on Gary's part. He, of course, is doing everything the Lord has required. Meanwhile, the people are dragging their heels. Same false narrative over and over again.

That's a safe bet given Walk/TLWF history. If anything doesn't work out it's the people's fault, sometimes the result of their connecting to demonic forces. The minister of the 'living word" is always blameless. Whenever God issues a new weighty demand, the 'mature' ones (John, Marilyn, Gary etc) are the first to 'drink the cup', paving the way for others to follow. Except that isn't the case. What they're first at is casting blame at the fellowship for being slackers.

I knew there was a catch...

All I can say is that I am thankful to be out of that mess. I hope that people will think very hard before moving to Brazil if they are told that it's God's will for them to go. That just has disaster written all over it!
