Bingo, GTIO and Jonah. The most powerful leaders made it all about themselves. Looking back, how many things did I do in order to feel love and attention from JRS, G&M, and others? I did so many things to my own hurt, to my family's hurt. Revolting!

Back in the 70’s, in the San Diego LW church (Coniah Chapel), RD Cronquist brought a sermon titled “Would You French Kiss Jesus?”

That probably would have depended on how many beers, I had consumed:-)

Seriously, Cronquist was preoccupied with the sexual stuff. I don’t remember that sermon but it sure sounds like something he would do. I bet the tape sold well.

I remember making the mistake of bringing my then GF for a so-called “relationship checkout”. We both came away much more confused than helped and I am convinced he got some kinky gratification out of asking my GF some pretty personal questions. RD was a real weirdo.

Puddington,
It seems the SD folks got the duel blessing of 'The Apostle' luring them into the silver mine scam, and RD subjecting them to his deviant imagination.
Wonderful.

Jewel, wasn't being deviant a requirement for apostleship?

Apparently so but I didn’t know that at the time I was part of TLW. I am amazed at some of the stuff I have learned here.

Jewel,

Exactly!

This was posted on the further discussion of The Living Word FB group today:

"So apparently the Shiloh property was sold to a developer. Its annexation in to the city of Kalona is just a city limit/services/property tax thing...it is not owned by the city. The land is now privately owned by the developer.
Did anyone know about this?
I didn’t see what the sale price is, but it may be public record."

Has anyone heard anything about this?

(Shiloh Church Directors: Craig Haworth, Steve Rich, Ron Caquelin)

I wonder if it was disclosed to the developer that he was purchasing the center of the universe, and if so, whether this had any impact on the selling price.

And you can bet that the Shiloh church directors have a back channel to send the funds to Gary Hargrave.
