I've just started watching it. I'm at the part where Charity mentions her unpleasant experience with an angry Yoga teacher who apparently thought she didn't give him proper respect--and berated her for it. For whatever reason, I found myself actually sympathizing with the Yoga teacher. Perhaps it is because next week I'll be teaching my first class and am nervous about it. I fear that I will get at least one rebellious, snarky student who wants nothing more than to see me fail in the most humiliating fashion. I hope that does not happen. I really do.

That's great, Changed! I'm sure that you'll be great. You're more like a coach than a guru. Try not to make them laugh too hard. ; )

Thanks, Reep. Getting into people's faces and screaming at them mercilessly for not showing respect does not come naturally for me. And when I'm angry, and want to express that in an email, text or tweet, my default mode is to not use all caps. So yeah, I definitely have my shortcomings. However, I still think--even as a senior citizen--that I can evolve and become the person I am supposed to be. Change is possible.
Anyway, got to go. Just looked out my kitchen window, and noticed someone stepped on my lawn. Time to deal with the situation, whether it is my nature or not.

They both had plans, she executed flawlessly, he did not. Ha walked — no he ran — into every trap she set. He is like a cat with a laser pointer, he just can’t resist. She was brilliant.

I received this message yesterday afternoon from a former cult member. I'm not sure, but I suspect this person is being facetious:

"Darn--I just remembered that the Saturday Valley service starts at 9 a.m. I wonder if I leave now I can catch the last part of it.

I hope Marilyn is still not talking from the Cloud of Confusion. If so, I'm going to need to sneak out."
