That's funny, Changedagain. We always called that a snipe hunt, which is a practical joke where someone invites you to start a church somewhere. You break your back to find a location, get people to attend, finish your Master's in Divinity, and then watch as G&M handpick the son of somebody more connected than you to pastor it. Afterward, everyone gets a good laugh and you get to repent for your position thinking.

Hey puddington...I think you are guilty of position thinking for even mentioning these unearned titles! :)

I read somewhere that JRS’s PhD comes from some mail-order, unaccredited Bible school.

Meanwhile, at Shiloh U, Gary Hargrave awards himself an honorary PhD.
Rather unethical.

Reporting back to the local church:

Maybe 5 or 6 years ago they built a bar in the corner of the dining hall at Shiloh and when there are dinners or events they open it up for everyone. My favorite thing to notice is that all the people of power would get fancy glasses and frosted mugs when everyone else got plastic cups.

The frosted mugs, yes! Or if you made the pilgrimage to Shiloh for SOP it was the golf carts you were allowed to drive. I don't know where they got those, but I can remember a few that got busted up in the woods during the amphitheater party. Only VIPs were invited there too. There was never enough beer, wings, and fireworks for all of the locals.

The evolution (or devolution--depending upon which side of the fence one was looking from) of clergy and laity (the haves and the wish they hads), had its origin all the way back in 1951 when JRS established his 'kingdom'.  From the start, it was his way or the highway.  

Those who toted the party line were invited into the inner sanctum of clergy, while all others were having their ears tickled as they emptied their wallets and labored for free.

There is nothing like preaching against hierarchy while being a sermon illustration at the same time.  Eventually we little people just took it for granted we would always be on the outside looking in.  What saved many from the ugly truth was that the inside was a crab barrel full of competition to see who could position themselves the closest to the top.

Most everyone else was fed scraps from the master's table--if we were lucky enough to get anything at all--or even worse, the master's whip, which was never really about correction, only punishment.

I was thinking this morning that if people would simply do what I tell them to do, there would be Oneness. But when they refuse, or begin arguing with me...it invariably leads to division and strife. The answers to the big problems we face in life are not really complex.

I can't stop thinking about the collective THOUSANDS OF YEARS of people's lives that were stolen by deception. How much did we all forfeit for this masquerade? How many didn't take a certain job, go to school, move to a more desirable location, marry a love, have a child, maintain contact with family, or use their time for profit instead of giving it freely? On a basic level, I think about what I could've done with the thousands of hours I spent in services and traveling to them! How many are irreparably wounded by the revelation that their entire belief system was based on the lies and plagiarism of a narcissistic con artist and his conniving wife? It sickens me that beautiful hearts were used and disposed of. I also can't stop thinking about how widespread the truth of the con was. Did JRS "compose" his sermons and run them by Marilyn as they laughed about how real they sounded? Did Gary and Marilyn acknowledge to each other that they both knew they were con-artists, or was it an unspoken thing between them? How many of the higher-up shepherds were in on this? This part is driving me crazier than the deception itself. Did they laugh as they saw the tithes roll in and they purchased their next airline flight or home? Or did they silently watch the blind sheep give and bleed without even acknowledging to each other that they all knew it was an eternal lie? I'd give a lot to hear an off-the-record conversation between JRS and Marilyn, or Marilyn and Gary. I hope there is a God, and that the sin that the CTLW founder and his minions committed is the most unforgivable.

Amphitheater = Facility at Shiloh where the annual July 4th (sometimes on the 3rd) fireworks show took place
APCO = Apostolic Company
Authority = Ministries claim to exercise the authority of Christ. Congregants must submit to their authority
Babylon = Any church or business not associated with TLWF
Biblical Numerology = Understanding the design of God's Word through the meaning of Biblical numbers
Binding = Restraining/confining/capturing whatever is perceived as Satanic
Bless = Extend hands towards someone in prayer
Bless-In = A gathering, generally in a circle (left hand over/right hand under) increasing individual blessing by virtue of the collective
Blessing Ball = Build up 'anointing' and sending the 'ball' to another
Blow Out = Someone who left TLW
Body = Body of Christ (used almost exclusively referring to TLWF members)
Body-wide = including all of the the TLWF churches and members
Boomerang principle = Applies to both 'good' and 'evil' -- whatever is sent out returns to sender

Build up your aura = Place your hands with open palm, palm toward your aura (about 8 - 12 inches away from your head) and stretch it out further so your aura grows and expands (invisibly of course).
Build wall of protection = Walk around your car, your house, your bed and hold your palms open toward the item you are surrounding and speak that you are building a wall of protection
