Where to pee or not to pee is the question.

Those weeds will not pull themselves.

(Please leave by the back gate, and leave no trace so no one sees you. Your reward will be in HEAVEN--not here.)

Sometimes I tell the cashier that I have received confirmation that it is O.K. for me to buy a particular item, and they just give me a blank stare. I hate that.

So you're saying that this confirmation came from the top? Interesting...I'm surprised that you weren't told to donate the money instead of actually buying something useful.

It was a pair of work gloves, so maybe it was considered useful ;)

That's a common sentiment.

I received this brief email this morning that echoes many ex-member's attitude (I think):
Makes me think of all the ones that went out there in the early 70ā€™s to build it. But Iā€™m OK with the demolition!!

Well, JRS prophesied if The Walk/TLW was no longer a part of what God was doing in the earth, HE/SHE should tear it down.

BOMBS AWAY!

So many gave so much to build and maintain this monument to control. Chief among those who patiently served and gave were the local Iowans. I hope that those from Washington, Kalona and surrounding areas are not left out of decisions being made about their home.

On second thought, congregants have never been part of decisions that are handed down from lofty places. It's extremely unlikely that it will change now.

Exactly
When you allegedly hear directly from God, it is not necessary to ask the congregation for advice.
(former congregation, that is)
