REVEAL's thorough indictment of TLW is all the more interesting in that it came a month before Shalom's bombshell (affectionately known by some as 'Shalomashima') in October 2018.

On a more personal note, our little get together with Puddington happened just days before Shalomashima hit, and I recall it being mentioned on our departure that meetings like ours (or other disclosures) would hasten the downfall of TLW. Little did we know that before the end of the week was the being of the end . . .

Atonement – Confession and Sanctification
September 16, 2018 - by Gary Hargrave

". . . we are reaching for the reality of sanctification and to see the Lord reveal to us the root of our transgression."

"We start the process of our complete sanctification by refusing to deceive ourselves and by being open to His voice about what it is we need to confess."

Amen

It has become increasing clear that much of the 'inspiration' governing the direction of the 'word' was a reflection of the state of the mind of the vessel bringing it. It was far more applicable to the clergy than to the laity.

Whether or not the G-man knew about the pending tsunami (Shalomashima) heading his way in just a few weeks following this message, it is abundantly clear by his subsequent response to this event there was never really any intention to walk it out other than to walk a w a y . . . and with the $ $ $.

The most controlling member of the fellowship, excluding Marilyn and Rick, was/is Gary. If groups that have reorganized and now claim they have "moved forward,' yet are still linked to him in some form--than (IMO) nothing substantive has changed. It will simply be a matter of time before the same oppressive control mechanisms are put in place. Yes, change can occur, even within the most obstinate...but it needs to start with a specific acknowledgement of wrongdoing--before skipping that step and pushing the theme of forgiveness. As far as I can tell, that has not happened. "Not listening to the Holy Spirit" or "I put an end to religious hierarchy" is conveniently evasive.

There will be instances that some shepherds will refuse to change their spots. With zero evidence that the G-man has ever changed his M.O in the last half century, the future looks pretty dim for those who remain faithful to whatever cause may faintly remain.

The road up ahead; to slowly die on the vine from a message that has lost all LIFE.

The discussion has tapered off quite a bit the past couple months or so, understandable given that just about everything TLWF-related has been broached at one time or another here through the years. Given what people have been through, I think placing their own physical/mental/emotional health as top priority is a good thing--whatever form that takes. So I hope that is going on. This attitude was frowned up within the confines of TLWF, of course. Sons of God do not take breaks, or give any consideration toward their own well-being!
Anyway, reader's interest in the forum has remained relatively strong. To date there has been 1,200,198 page views.
Hope everyone is having a pleasant weekend.

The irony in your statement about personal priorities is that they were supposed to be the focus of 'The Walk' in the first place, which was then hijacked for someone else's personal interests.

No one should feel guilty about prioritizing what was supposed to be the priority at the outset.

We are all walking out our own personal prodigal misadventure, accompanied along the WAY by many fine companions.
