A post by Chaos1952 from July of 2013. Judging by this post, he didn't seem too impressed by 'Mom.'

Let me introduce myself. I was in the Walk from about 1977 to 1983 or early 1984. I am from the South, and most likely there are few people that realize there were churches in the South, I was in the Atlanta (Georgia) church, we were under the Knoxville Tennessee Church. This is my first time posting here. I am interested in how things are going in the Walk now-days. I pretty much left when I went out to the Valley church right after JRS died. That was a huge mess. Marilyn proved to be a total waste of time. She kept saying she was going to show a video of "John" commissioning her, but that tape was never shown. She kept changing clothes like she was in some Hollywood production (which she was) and was pretty much stoned to the max.

OK, my theory only:

JRS passed out waiting on the Lord (in a drunken stupor), woke up to pee, and happened to notice that Martha still had not been obedient to die. They had words. (JRS: Why aren't you dead yet? Martha: Why aren't you like Christ yet?) Alarms were sounded, special people were awakened to practice what amounted to black magic voodoo spells against the pastor's wife.

A normal 24 hours at Kling.

Your theory seems credible. I'm going with it!

What will the future bring to the Living Word?

If I may speculate, here's my predictions.....

I predict that with membership dropping, churches will continue to
shut down. I suspect that DC will be next, then
San Diego. SD already closed down their school which was a source of
income for them. With so little members in
place and with about 80% of tithes being sent to the APCO support
funds, there is little funds left to pay for the water
and lights, etc. Like it has always been, the local church is
squeezed hard and has little to work with. But it must be
even worse now. So probably DC, then San Diego and then, possibly
Palmer Lake and eventually Grants Pass and
Shiloh.

When these facilities shut down, the equity of the real estate has to
go somewhere, right? It would be interesting to
track where those funds go. About 10 years ago, a separate
corporation was setup by Gary and Marilyn. It had
a name like "Hargrave Family Ministries". It is G&M's nest egg. I
suspect that funds have been slowly moving
from the LW corporations over into this new corporation.

If you look at what a corporation invests in, you can get an idea of
what their true mission is. While the LW publicly
states that it is all about "preserving John's word", the actions
indicate something else. There has been quite a bit
of buying up of houses in the LA area around the church. So who holds
those titles? Do they end up being shifted over
to Hargrave Family Ministries? If they start out as LW owned and
get shifted, who will stand and oppose that kind
of action. No one. No one has the nerve to question what G&M (and
Rick Holbrook) are doing. They can do anything
they want to now. Anyone with integrity has left, been run out of the
church or forced into retirement.

note: meanwhile, decisions are being made about the Shiloh property. Also, Hargrave Family Ministries is now Hargrave Ministries.

Reepicheep - Your script sounds much more likely. I would add one thing. After JRS and Martha had this late nigh/wee hours of the morning fight, JRS told someone like Marilyn about it and it then became the hard fast rule to have phone trees wake each other up at 3:00 a.m. to pray.

Yes, this was enacted by an order from on high thru the office at the Blix House. Calls thru a rotating phone tree so everyone would wake up and pray.

Paleface was SO right on! When I first read it, I didn't look at the date. And of course everything predicted is exactly what has been happening! Kudos to Paleface!
