I'm alllllllmost done with my, um, whatever it is. Booklet? Book? Anti-This-Week? Anyway - didn't make it in time for Christmas, but I can at least offer it on the first (hopefully). You know... 'cause it'll be a NEW DAY then. (groan)

If you upload what you've got on the 31st (earlier in the day rather than later?) I can include it. Thanks again for running with this and doing all the heavy lifting, and for everyone's help and additions!

JJJ:

I'm afraid whatever edition I am able to complete by Dec 31 will still be amended far into the new year, as my generation (2nd) and those who have simply been gone for decades have memories that are far less reliable these days.

I have probably added about a dozen new entries (not actually submitted by anyone) just from the discussions on this forum on the last couple of pages, where the post simply included certain words/phrases that so automatically rolled off our minds that we didn't even realize it was WALK TALK.

Ones that were still MISSING from the 12.24.18 EDITION lexicon were:

The Walk
Pure Atmosphere
Combat Communications
Battle
Appropriate
COMM West
COMM Central
Sympathetic spirit

So, don't let me/us hold you up from publishing your 'highly anticipated' ANTI-THIS WEEK.

Roll the presses.

VKocsis:

Thank you for continuing to participate. Our combined involvements in both of these movements deserve a complete unraveling.

Best to you in the New Year--which we would always hear was a 'new day'--just not the 'new day' they were expecting.

Center of the Universe (COTU): I recall hearing this once, while listening to a cassette tape in the 70's of a message John brought in Shiloh. He referred to Shiloh as the center of the universe. I didn't take it literally, which may have been a sign of my unbelief--not sure.

CHANGED:

How could we forget about being the COTU? We soon went spiraling out of control . . .

Changed and kBoy,

Too bad no one had foresight to make a COTU t-shirt. I would be wearing it right now...no matter how tightly it fit :)

"I am the neediest person in the Walk, I need 24/7 intercession."

"I am a walking Fort Knox"

Rephrased:
"I need 24/7 adulation.
I am a walking Fort Tox."
