LAMPSHAMP Oh don't be so sure they weren't talking about opening a laundry business and having those dumb sheep do some unfolding.... for the monies.
I like "monies" because Mr. Crabs on Sponge-Bob calls it MONIES.

Your points are well taken and not restricted to just religious contexts, but extend to personality and political cults as well ('Trumpism' dare I say).

Another interesting example of a personality-cult can be seen in the Netflix movie "Chappaquiddick"--the story of Ted Kennedy and those who served the 'Kennedy mystic' in spite of the truth--all except one. (No spoiler alert here.)

If it hasn't already been brought up, "getting a revelation," or "needing a revelation," something I remember being told more than once when I didn't understanding something. Particularly when it came to G&M, "You don't understand because you don't have a revelation."

Here’s another vague one:

“Break in your spirit”

As in “that person needs to go seek God until they break in their spirit”.

Or “you need to spank that child until they break in their spirit”.

kBOY – A few more terms (Feel free to alter the definitions)
“Free Apostle and a dead Jezebel” - Prayer for Martha (John’s wife) to die so he could marry Marilyn
“Breakthrough” – An imaginary new spiritual level where nothing outwardly changes but you still convince yourself to feel good about it.
“Upward flow” – Preparing meals, cleaning house, and mowing the grass of your leader’s home while pretending they are God.
“Position thinking” – Falsely imagining you matter as much to God as your leader does.
“Opening your spirit” - New Age technique to make you more vulnerable to brain washing.
“Shepherd” - One who does exactly what G&M tells them to do, no matter how destructive it is to other people in their church.
“Old level” – Doing the same thing, the same way, and getting the same result - nothing.
“New level” – An imaginary utopia where doing the same thing, the same way, finally produces something of value.
“Seeing in the spirit” – Spacing out and looking down on everyone else. A valuable technique in helping you recognize your world dominance.
“Drinking from other fountains” – Reading material or attending churches other than TLWF.
“Babylon” – Any church or business not associated with TLWF.
“Little people” – Anyone in TLWF not in a leadership role.
“Oneness” – Obeying the leadership of TLWF. Other Christians are not part of the oneness.
“Shepherd’s Library” – Tapes where TLWF leadership reveal why they had to lie about what they were really up to. (e.g. Our real goal is to get everyone connected and obedient to Marilyn – something we can’t really put on the sign out front. Until people are properly brainwashed, we can’t risk the possibility of them recognizing we are up to no good.)

During the unfolding and the unwrapping there was a strong focus on the Third Generation and how they should direct how things are to be done, seen, organized, worshipped, etc. There resulted a kind of harsh "moving over" or "passing the baton" directed at the second generation (which includes people who came into the walk in the 70's who had been slaves to JRS and Marilyn for many years by that time). I believe the unfolding referenced the unfolding of the revelation of the third generation and the relationships. Tami and Rick and others of their friends and family were in Hawaii for all or most of the unfolding. The unwrapping started as the third generation began unwrapping JRS so he could be free etc.

Several people who were behind the scenes with JRS and Marilyn and others relate a time in Hawaii where JRS and Marilyn fought loudly and regularly and times where JRS contacted people on the other Islands and had them pick him up from the airport where he had fled to get away from Marilyn and where he is quoted as saying Marilyn was worse than Martha ever was.

Very instrumental in the third generation were Tami Pfeifer Holbrook, her brothers, Rick and his whole crew, and then tagging along were anyone in that age group (born in the late 50's and 60's). The third generation started falling apart when Rick abandoned his first wife to begin his affair with Shannon who he roped in by telling her it was what JRS wanted or "would have wanted." JRS was already feeling the effects of cancer in 1982 and by January 1983 he was very ill. Tami was there every possible minute to help Marilyn and to make sure JRS had anything he needed. Rick was rarely around (RARELY) and of course we learned later that he was already in his relationship with soon to be wife #2.

I don't remember much if any focus on the third generation after that. Hopefully, a lot of them left to pursue everything life had to offer. Definitely there was an exodus out after JRS passed and the G&M pairing became evident.

-------------------

Note for the WTF category: Sources say Rick Holbrook is already cheating on Lorena. Apparently the new woman is not in the church. I don't know if that means she was never in the church. If he follows his standard practice, a divorce and remarriage should follow. I don't know what ploy he is using to get women outside of the church to respond to him. He may have a lot of money inherited from his mom or saved during all the years he got paid at TLW and did nothing. Who knows. If, however, the new woman is not related to the church at all, I would think his number will be up much more quickly than it was in the church and hopefully he has no way to avoid those consequences, especially if he continues to start with women who are underage.

Just saying...

Oh boy. The pattern continues. But I don't think I should point it out, because that could be indicative of having a "religious spirit." No one wants that label!
