If I hear one more TLWF leader say "we're on our faces before the Lord" I'm going to go through the roof. How about you get off your damn faces, on your feet and take some action and RESPONSIBILITY! Prayers are not enough. It's lip service. Do something real and then I'll believe you care, AMIRIGHT?!

Onion promised and delivered that there would be proof of Gary’s knowledge of Rick’s behavior decades ago. Many others are also starting to share their stories from all parts of TLWF. The leadership that permitted this type of behavior is still in power and within TLWF they still hold “apostolic authority” over people’s lives. Just because you think you have a “revelation” of them does not excuse their criminal behavior. Someday, hopefully soon, the deception bubble will pop and you will be shocked what you called God. There is much more that needs to come out into the open, so that people will know who they are really dealing with.

There are incredible people within TLWF, and this is in no way meant to harm them – in spite of what they may be told. Anyone that speaks up about this abuse is branded a heretic and shunned – it’s been 18 years for me. People within and without of TLWF, including my wife, can’t understand why I don’t just move on. I can’t look at the suffering and walk away, whether anyone understands it or not. There is an incredible amount of wounding that has been buried that needs to be exposed so that people can be healed. You have to have a very hard heart not to be moved by the letters and videos coming out – in some cases it doesn’t even move their parents who are still in TLWF. That’s messed up!

My first couple of years outside of TLWF I wanted nothing to do with God. I honestly thought TLWF was God, and God was just screwed up. One advantage I had over many others was that I had input from other parts of Christianity prior to TLWF – my Dad had a seminary degree and was an ordained pastor in the Christian Missionary Alliance and later Baptist churches. It soon became apparent that the teachings of John did not match the teachings of Jesus – especially in the areas where there has been so much damage. However, it did take getting out from under the control of TLWF in order to start critically thinking again.

Many will say that God brought a perfect word through an imperfect channel and excuse the leader’s behavior. I would look at the fruit of that word, as Jesus suggested. You will see thousands of damaged lives. That is not good fruit. I honestly don’t think there is anyone that has had contact with TLWF that has been left unscathed. Healthy people do make up hoops for you to jump through and call the consequences the work of the cross.

Yes.
If a few of them were on their faces before the Lord in a prison cell, I might pay attention. But this present way of expressing "remorse" is all posturing. Don't fall for it.

Thank you, Larry for the years of ringing the bell and putting yourself out there all these years. You are awesome for your courage and caring about every single person who suffers under this. God got a really bad rap and I know he offers kudos to you too.

BREAKING NEWS! I just heard that Gary is resigning, Cabrals, Seboldts, Haworths, and Cabrals are all stepping down.

No further information. This was apparently announced in this morning's service.

If anyone hears details - please post! I will too.

And Walkoes are stepping down.

I hope that means Margo won't be at the school. I just heard from someone about a father who was arrested for child sexual abuse and a week later (he was out on bail) Margo (who knew all about it) had the dad as a parent help oversee a field trip with all the kids. Fucking INSANE.
