I was a LW member for years. I tried to ignore that small voice of reason inside me that questioned so many things I heard come across the Living Word pulpit. There were several dark years when that inner voice was nearly silenced. But thankfully it came back.

I encourage all of you reading this forum. Pay attention to that inner voice. It wants you to be free.

It is ironic to think that the encouragement to 'wait on God' was to develop our relationship with the INNER VOICE, and then have it devolve into a culture of almost complete distrust in anyone ever developing the ability, thus requiring 'designated relationships' who could 'hear it for us'.

Gaslighting is a form of psychological manipulation that seeks to sow seeds of doubt in a targeted individual or in members of a targeted group, making them question their own memory, perception, and sanity.

One sign that I was finally reconnecting with my inner voice is when I concluded that Shiloh was not the center of the universe :)

Things That Are Done In Secret

You know something is wrong when the leadership of (a church ) knowingly accepts $80,000.00 of life insurance from a widow whose husband recently died. A widow who has little children to support and care for by herself. To take as a gift what the widow offered - in reality is taking what a man worked for and provided, for his wife and children should he die - to do such a thing is incomprehensible, is unthinkable, is beyond belief!

Who is able to hear such a report?

Give the widow back her money even though she is now elderly and her children are grown. Make right the wrong you have done to this lamb. You know who she is - while you are yet living on this earth - go and find her and make right the wrong you have done.

If it were not for the 'upward flow', no religious structure could survive.

We loved having our ears tickled with the word, but rarely felt overwhelmed by the LOVE . . .

Even though we all saw warning signs along the way, there always seemed to be a scriptural justification . . .

It is interesting to note that the original vision of spearheading a 'celestial event of monumental proportions' (after 2000 years of disappointment) has been downgraded to lessen the disappointment of the last 70 years of TLW.
