Shiloh Summer Camp--What's the Worst that can happen?

You could lose appendages or limbs at the sawmill.

You could fall in the swamp.

You could faint from heat exhaustion AND fall in the swamp.

LW worker #1: “Say, are you going to Rick’s wedding this weekend?”

LW worker #2: “No, I can’t make it. I’ll catch the next one.”

Yeah, I guess each one of those are worse then listening to six straight messages about obedience. Not by much :)

Maybe you could do a parody of "the Goonies" but instead call it "the Garies."

It could be a picture of all the Goonies with Gary's face superimposed over each of them, since we all need to be more like Gary if we want eternal life.

"The Garies: Garies Never Die!"

Or

"The Garies: Do the Trust Shuffle!"

In the very early days (pre-barn) he held services in a converted garage behind his home in Chula Vista, CA. Not too far from the current Coniah site (or whatever it may be called these days). He used to get so fired up while preaching that he would go hopping across the platform on one foot shaking his finger at the congregants, ranting about one thing or another. Some times his watch or a cuff link would go flying off as he did it. David Cokas brought a bunch of us down there which is where it all started for many of us. RD could put on quite a show but, in the end, I think he was mostly a snake oil salesman.

Interesting similarities. Perhaps Turkey has better laws than the US in this regard.
