That's right. Forget making money off the LW CD's; exploit the confessional and tell sinners to say 3 Hail Mary's and put 50 bucks in the donation box. That's the way you do it!

Absolutely, Gary looked around and realized there was a lot of money to be had by kissing up, maybe he will end up the Bishop of Brazil. Could happen. Probably will happen.

There is one thing good about it, the current Pope is for re-distribution of wealth. Since Gary Hargrave supports him so well, it is time for the Living Word Fellowship membership to demand that he spread the wealth around the church, perhaps give back a huge amount of the money he has been pilfering all those years.

I assume that he does not have the hardcore rejection of homosexuality that John Robert Stevens had either.

No doubt he is for open borders, a one world religion, one world socialist government. Wow, that don't fit Gary's lifestyle, he lives like a rock star, If he is not, then the membership should be questioning, why not?

I don't think he ever believed in what JRS taught either, any more than he believes in what this Pope teaches, but is always showing up enthusiastically calling for prayer for the Pope. I recall Gary's speech when he was in Brazil that time asking "how can we pray for Papa Fransisca? What can we do to serve him?

Look, I don't really care one way or another what this Pope thinks, and it sure looks like Gary Hargave don't either, he just figures it will make him look better to the Brazil Walkites and perhaps gain new members, which he sure don't care about in this country. I guess he figures he has the membership in his pocket. It seems to me that somebody should ask these kind of questions.

Apostle Dog, you think Gary might not be against LGBTQAI? Well, he and Marilyn set Marty out of the Body. I'm thinking he is.

precisely, that is the whole point. Gary and Marilyn went down to Brazil to sing the praises of a pope that is absolutely opposite in theology, does anybody else think that is a little unusual?

changedagain: -- The TLWF Experience

“There must be some kind of way outta here.” ---- “The Jimi Hendrix Experience/TLWF Experience.”

Lyrics from the song “All Along the Watchtower” by Bob Dylan but strongly identified with the Jimi Hendrix Experience cover.

BTW, the information I received regarding Rich L., is that he retired because of health reasons, and as a reward for his 35+ years of service, received no pension. I guess this is yet another beautiful manifestation of the overwhelming love of God that flows from TLWF leadership.

The Living Word Fellowship is famous for many decades now, they don't pay but certain pastors, they don't pay for "volunteer" work they that people are "encouraged" to perform in their for profit sweatshops, and they don't pay any pensions except to certain people.

The Living Word Fellowship seems to me to have been Babylon on steroids, they were just the thing they said they were against. The whole thing to me is something I would rather forget, even the very professionally done scripture twisting of John Robert Stevens. All of it start till now has been a disaster and has done a thousand time more harm than good. That is not what a church should be.

I was part of a small crew that spent seven years maintaining/upgrading the South Gate facility on a volunteer basis. Hence, my interest in what became of the proceeds of the sale of the church, approximately a year after I left ('98), From what I gather, the money went into Marilyn's trust fund--purpose, unknown. During the time period I was at that church, I don't think she spent more than 3-4 days visiting there.

The Jones Town tragedy aired on PBS's American Experience years ago and there have been other documentaries about a few other cults, but nothing on TLWF.

Your comments got me thinking about the need for a "Cult Experience App" for young people like..."Are you drinking the Kool-Aid (blind obedience)?" The app could be designed so the user examines their cult experiences through prompts framed under all the cultish signs and red flags.
