Hello to all,
I realized after three years in the UPC church that no one was reaching out and helping anyone outside the church. There was no church response to the world around us but condemnation. I left the UPC and I recovered from the tired condemnation I heard continusely. I asked God to humble me and help me witness to the ones that no one wanted to talk to. I spent Christmas eve and the bringing in of Christmas day witnessing and praying with a drug addict who felt demons where after him. Believe me I am sure they were but I gave him a bible and we prayed and read the Lords words of comfort and peace and hope and faith. The UPC did not teach me that unfortunately, thet told me to stay away from such people and distance myself. How do we witness when we are too proud to reach out and let God work through us to reach the individual who needs him so much. My word for those who got out of the UPC church just keep loving the Lord and pray and he will guide you to do what he wants you to do.
