I responded by not going to Tim Geftakys for his "advice/permission." However my privacy was not respected because my roommates aparently went to Tim and told on me. He confronted me about my decision to move out of state for 6 weeks and told me "no" "I will not give you my blessing." (One that I never asked for.) After this I noticed a cold rejection from other members in the group. One brother told me "You do not have God's confirmation on your desicion!" This left my self esteem extremly damaged. I felt substandard on every level. Why was I being treated like a child? What was so bad about my behavior that I merrited this treatment? After repenting of my self willed lifestyle I foolishly continued on in the Assembly yet with an intense dedication that was my attempt to prove to myself and others that I was a real Christian. (Not the immature child I was treated like.) This resulted in more and more dedication to the group, I sacraficed my time, money and future to Georges' vision.
