Mohan Singh/ Steven Seagal - Sexual Assualt Cases
Date: April 15, 2010 02:26AM

Mohan (Michael Lyons) claimed to know Steven Seagal. Both were involved with Tibetan Buddhism and have larger than life characters.

Eerily similar, the breaking news is that Seagal is being sued for attempting to convert a woman into a sex slave. The modus operandi revealed in the lawsuit can be read here:
[tmz.vo.llnwd.net]

Anyone who has heard testimony from Mohan's rape victims will notice similarities including deception, disorientation by moving the victim to strange location, drugs, sexual assault, using other assistants and women to set up the victim and then leaving her alone with the predator, threats to not tell anyone, etc

Similarly, Seagal demands that the victim takes Tibetan pills which what Mohan has also done on occasions.

The question is what kind of relationship have Mohan (Michael Lyons) and Steven Seagal had?

Mohan's "girls" gave sexual services to Sri Lankan guru Tilak Fernando according to Mohan. Who else has been pulled into Mohan's sex and exploitation ring? Has Mohan corrupted the Tibetan Lamas which he uses to cover his vicious criminal actions?

A CULT guru jailed for ten years today after sexually abusing attractive young followers with his "organic manhood" is suspected to have raped scores more women.

Self-proclaimed miracle worker Michael Lyons funded a jet-set lifestyle by fleecing brainwashed pretty devotees he called "cloud angels."

The 52-year-old mystic - known as Mohan Singh - preached open sex among his group and used his harem of adoring women followers to target new recruits for sex.

Cosmic sex beast Lyons was convicted at London's Wood Green Crown Court of raping one woman during a twisted initiation ceremony and sexually assaulting another by penentration while treating her for a bad back.

But he was acquitted of three more rapes and sexual assault.

Jurors locked in debate since June 30 were today unable to reach verdicts on two further counts of rape and sexual assault. Those charges were ordered to lie on file.

Scotland Yard and the FBI, however, suspect the new age preacher of raping many more victims in this country and America - where further charges are being considered against him.

According to one U.S internet report, more than 300 women have come forward to say they were sexually abused by Lyons.

The claim was denied by police, but Det Sgt Nick Giles, of the Yard's Operation Sapphire specialist sex crimes unit, said : "I do think there are many other victims out there, but it is impossible to put a number on it."

He went on: "The offences in this case were quite horrendous.

"He brainwashed young impressionable women and isolated them from their families to exercise psychological and emotional control.

"Recruits were told to rip up photographs of their families and embrace the group as their new family.

"He literally took their lives away from them.

"There are families all over the world who have been left completely devastated by the activities of Michael Lyons and his cult."

Jailing him for seven years for rape and another three years to run consecutively for the sexual assault, Judge Nicholas Browne, QC, accused the guru's female followers of setting up the sex attacks.

The judge told Lyons: "They well knew what was likely to happen to both victims before their sexual abuse.

"Women's groups everywhere will be shocked and appalled in the complicity in these two crimes of women close to you.

"It was complete betrayal by women to women. Both thought they were safe in your presence because other women were present at the time or shortly before."

Lyons was made the subject of a life-long strict sexual offences prevention order barring him touching any woman he has known for less than six months.

Jamaican-born Lyons had three main bases - London, Manchester and Miami - and persuaded followers to pay £400 a month into a group account meant for arranging visits from Eastern spiritualists, but which was used to fund his extravagant lifestyle.

Lyons, who wore crimson robes throughout his trial, had a Bentley limousine permanently available to him and his defence fees of at least £2million were paid for him by devotees.

His trial was told Lyons was a "sexual predator" who used a 50-strong harem of attractive women followers, and several men, to recruit targets for lust-filled initiation ceremonies.

Jurors heard how Lyons told one victim that he had an "organic manhood."

Potential victims are urged to call the Met's Rape Cold Case Team on 020 7321 7313 or The Haven refuge on 020 7886 1101.

To update I believe that Mohan Singh/ Michael Lyons never actually qualified as an osteopath as he never sat his final exams.
I was shocked to see the news reports today as i never had any knowledge of him being linked to such a vile series of crimes. I met him several months ago, he was with an English woman called Claire and a very well dressed man in a cream suit called Joel (cant remember whether he was Australian or Danish/Scandanavian - I know, big difference, but I think Scandinavian. From the moment I met him I thought there was something quite odd about him, not because of the flowing robes (which were slightly dirty) or the suit which seemed to be from the 70's but from the undeniable aroma of Marijuana, he offered to do a back lift (osteopathic technique) which I declined, he was taken aback when I crticised one of his monologues by quoting the Jewsh Torah back to him, as my beliefs were unswayed by his views and that he was trying to convert the unconvertable. At any given opportunity he was name dropping, something that I dislike and have always been wary of as it is a sure sign of falseness and weakness in ones own character. The third eye conversations seem to be part of his repetoire, thank g-d that the justice system has locked this man up, my concern is that its far to big an organistaion for just one man to run, he may have been the ring master and main beneficiary but his 'associates' surely won't let go of such a good money spinner.
I think that Claire was his PA.

Self-styled guru Michael Lyons claimed to be a disciple of the Dalai Lama and attended meetings in London of the Drukpa Kagyu branch of Tibetan Buddhism. During his trial he was said to have enjoyed a luxurious life-style, with a penthouse apartment and chauffeur-driven Bentley and Mercedes cars. Lyons, also known as Mohan Singh, was said to be surrounded with “young, charming women”who recruited new members to his group who were then drawn into estrangement from friends, family and jobs.

Lyons apparently decided that connections with Tibetan Buddhism would enhance his credibility as a “healer” and spiritual guru. In this respect he was not alone. Ever since awareness of Tibetan culture and religion started to percolate into the developed world in the 1960s, accelerating when the Dalai Lama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1989, Tibetan mystique has attracted followers for a variety of reasons.

It is probably true that most enthusiasts are impressed by the Dalai Lama's personality and sincerely interested in Buddhist study and practice – but there are also some who simply love the bells and smells, the colourful robes and exotic rituals. They have Buddha images above the fireplace, but they don't get up early to meditate before they go to work. There are many people politically motivated by the cause of Free Tibet who are not involved in Buddhism. There are university lecturers who teach Tibetan Buddhism and practise as Roman Catholics. And there are the wannabe gurus with dubious reputations who hitch rides on the Tibetan Buddhist bandwagon.

Shoko Asahara from Japan is the most notorious cult leader to bask in reflected Tibetan glory. He set up an apocalyptic group called Aum Shinrikyo and was photographed with the Dalai Lama. His teachings combined elements of Buddhism and Hinduism, as well as millenarian Christianity. In March 1995 some of his followers launched the infamous sarin gas attack during the rush hour on the Tokyo underground. Twelve people died and about 6,000 were injured – some permanently. The men who carried out the atrocity were mostly young, highly qualified scientists.

Steven Seagal is best known for his mega-macho roles in Hollywood movies which include the blockbusters Under Siege and Under Siege 2. Seagal's official web site makes no mention of this, but in 1999 he was recognised as a tulku (incarnate lama) by the late Penor Rinpoche who was briefly head of the Nyingma order of Tibetan Buddhism. This move aroused considerable scepticism within the Tibtan Buddhist community, to the extent that Penor (dubbed Paymore Rinpoche by the sceptics) felt obliged to issue a statement outlining his reasons for the recognition.

It includes a disclaimer:
“In the case of my student Steven Seagal, I initiated the decision to recognize him as a tulku based on my own feelings about him. Neither I nor any of my monasteries have received or sought any sort of substantial donation from him.”
In April 2010, Seagal's former assistant Kayden Nguyen filed a lawsuit claiming sexual harassment, illegal trafficking of females for sex, failure to prevent sexual harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination and false representation about employment. Nguyen claims that she was asked to join Seagal's harem which included two Russian women. According to Seagal's lawyer "The lawsuit is a ridiculous and absurd claim by a disgruntled ex-employee who was fired.”
Christopher Hansard claims to have been recognised as a tulku by a lama from the Bon (pre-Buddhist) Tibetan tradition when a child in his native New Zealand. Enquiries revealed that at that time there were no Bon lamas resident or visiting New Zealand. Hansard now practises in London as an alternative healer, psycho-therapist and New Age-style guru. Allegations of sexual impropriety have circulated about him on the internet for years – as have testimonies from former clients disputing his qualifications as a healer. Hansard's blog is headlined “Spirituality, Self-Knowledge and the Art of Living. He is the author of books with titles that include The Tibetan Art of Serenity.
Jetsunma Ahkon Lhamo nee Alyce Zeoli also known as Catharine Burroughs, started her career as a psychic, but eagerly adopted the status of tulku – also conferred upon her by Penor Rinpoche. Jetsunma was born in New York and is the subject of a book, The Buddha from Brooklyn, by former disciple Martha Sherrill. The book chronicles Sherrill's trajectory from dewy-eyed acolyte to disenchanted fugitive from Jetsunma's lavishly appointed headquarters in Maryland. Along the way Sherrill became aware of her teacher's ferocious temper which escalated into physical violence, how students seemed to be treated like slaves and how Jetsunma had a tax free income around $10,000 a month. In 1997 Jetsunma's excesses became public knowledge in America and she announced that she was moving permanently to Arizona. Little has been heard of her since then.

Mohan Singh may have also had connections with the Supreme Master Ching Hai if the bold title of this youtube video is anything to go by.
