I am casting a tv show looking for cult survivors to tell their story as a cautionary tale for others, if your story is chosen, it pays $1,000.

Dear jocelyn, this sounds like an interesting proposal.

Make sure these precautions are in place and both you and persons who submit information (applicants) and those who are selected have the following protection.

>
> * Confidentiality - what protection is in place to safeguard information (names, contact info) from applicants? Will documents be stored in a secure place and be discarded in a secure manner.

If any group takes legal action against the producer of the program or persons who are interviewed, what legal resources are available for participants during and after the show? (And for how long afterwards?)
>
> * Aftercare.

What if people get stressed out or suffer family turmoil or harassment from the group following participation. Will aftercare be available. And for how long?

How thorough will fact checking be? In tough times like these, $1000 can be a tempting amount. Two, a controversial group's PR representative or its legal representative can claim financial renumeration biased matters. How well are you prepared for this and how to rebut it?

Again, this is an interesting program. Sixty Minutes has done remarkable work of this kind. But first and foremost, the applicants and selected participants must have confidentiality protected during and after the show.

Does your inquiry of seeking members of cults that had their life ruined for your TV documentary still interest you?

I left a cult "House of Prayer Christian Churches of America" two days ago. My husband stayed and I am planning on filing for divorce. The head pastor, Rev Rony Denis, claims that he knows the date of the rapture and that he has gotten so close to God that he is no longer a person, but a spirit being.

The scary thing is that I'm apparently the only one in the church who is questioning this guy. I'm the only one who made a stand and left. I've tried to leave several times before, but either chickened out or was restrained. I called 911 this time and requested a police escort.

I was forced to sign papers that I don't know what I was signing, because it was a sin to question your pastor. I was told that I could not do anything and that I was helpless and sick, so that they could get me on disability and milk me for all I am worth.

I'm trying to get back on my feet now. I want to get off disability, get a job, and become a self sufficient woman.
